And not the Wii Generation. Since when did we start calling a generation of 3 consoles under a single console name?
Hasn't this already been on the front page? What's going on here?
No, reliability probably wouldn't have affected it much. The Japanese have a lot of nationalism, so first choice would always be a Japanese console. On top of that, the first Xbox had the stigma of being a western console, filled with FPS's and such.
Either way, Microsoft is always going to be in hot water in Japan.
I see what you did there... You know, gay-love is perhaps one of the truest forms of love, so it's all good.
Haha, with GameStop? Count on it being as minimal as possible.
We're in 2009 now, it's mandatory, at least for new releases. But they're right about needing trophies to feel accomplished. I'm finding it more difficult to go back and finish my older games because I don't get any physical reward (trophies) for them.
I've never even played CoD4, nor even given it a second glance. Oh noes, lynch me!
Really though, I may not be buying this either unless they lengthen the story. I'm not a MP kind of guy unless it's stress free fun. :)
Aren't CoD, Killzone 2, and Bad Company all going in different directions than this and ARMA?
Pretty unfair comparison if you ask me.
Not a whole bunch to flame about, really. Listings were pretty predictable all around.
I've noticed that I'm buying games in higher frequency than I had been with the PS2, even with the higher price. I find that funny, given the economic climate and (terrible) pricing of games. But hey, more games are more games, and as long as I'm happy with the games, I won't complain about the price.
That happens to me as well occasionally. Extremely annoying when you turn it off (or you think you have), crawl in bed, and have to climb out again when you realize it isn't going to shut off.
Of course you need games, ye' moron. If you buy any console, you need games to go with it so I fail to see your point here. You also fail at trolling.
Don't any of you find it sad that consumers are having to resort to tactics like buying two consoles just to have a safety net? I certainly do, and that is why, unlike you, I refuse to buy a 360. I've never had a disk error, a hardware error, or even a freeze (save for Fallout 3, buggy piece of crap).
I don't understand how you people can think it is perfectly okay to be forced to buy two consoles and make endless returns of said console because of faulty hardware. Well here's s...
Cossacks: European Wars had 2000 more. :p
I'm not desperate enough to resort to drug use, thank you very much.
And they blame video games? Our society in its current state makes me want to kill myself, it's that ridiculous.
Don't know if the achievements are the same, but I picked up Battlefield: Bad Company today and while I was waiting for an update to download, I looked at the trophy list.
Yeah, I'm not even going to bother trying for the MP ones.
Someone's getting a bit too excited...
And wouldn't listen when others warned me about its faults and recommended Firefox. My computer was constantly clogged up with all sorts of crap and the whole browsing experience was slow. But I didn't swtich because I was too comfortable with IE.
Then I switched. Haven't looked back since.
I don't understand the hype for this game.
