I won't disagree that the 360 is the... safer console to develop on, but come on. There's plenty of PS3 exclusives that have sold over or around a million copies.
Oh ho ho, and the same can be said for the Wii. I'm not even going to bother with that.
What happened with Factor 5 and Free Radical was because they developed games that were hyped up and disappointed. Same thing can happen on the 360. I don't see what your getting at there.

Has there ever been a Playstation exclusive that drew out massive launch numbers such as Halo 3? I can't think of any.
This isn't the movie industry, folks. Launch day sales aren't everything. I'm going to use LittleBigPlanet as an example here and say that games can continue to sell (and sell well) long into the future, regardless of launch numbers.
I need to pick this up at some point. The demo was a blast and looks to be the new Ace Combat, which was a really great series, at least on the last gen consoles.

I have to disagree. If anything, it NEEDS a sequel. Not only for that cliffhanger ending, but because there was so much potential in the original. Another shot at it and I think we could have a winner.

Anyways, pretty much expected score and likes/dislike. The lack of co-op is somewhat disappointing for me. It is always nice to experience the intensity of games like this with a friend who is beside you.
But its not a real huge negative, and sure enough I will be plodding out to make purchase of it later this evening.
You're right. Common sense should tell anybody that there is no way the PS3 will be able to remain competitive on its own into 2016. There will be other consoles with more efficient, reliable, and powerful hardware that will most likely bring some new things to the table. Plus, consumers just like shiny new things.
There will be a PS4 or whatever is next down the line and the PS3 will coexist with that. Think PS2 here.

Get your head out of your ass. If you would be intelligent enough to look for it, you would see that Metacritic adds reviews ONLY from sources that are legit enough to make a list. No more than that. They are not purposefully adding lower scores to degrade the rating.
