I personally have many 'B' games in my collection. That's mostly due to me being a cheap-ass (I don't buy much games at $60), but a lot of them end up actually being decent little games. Not necessarily memorable, graphically amazing, original, or 'good' in general, but there is fun to be had.
A good example of this is Dark Sector. It's a great game (it looks pretty nice as well), but it didn't do too well with the critics for whatever reason.

Well considering the DS and PSP are almost in a league of their own (and they are handhelds after all) the PS3 is 'king' of the console race in Japan, at least for this week.

I know that sounds crazy, but maybe we are on the verge of a breakthrough of the magnitude of the world being discovered as round.
I also find trophies more meaningful. Maybe it's because I haven't spent enough time with the achievement system, but when I see a score of "14,000" on a friend's system, it is meaningless to me. A number. Now when he sees that I am 68% through LVL 6 with x platinums, x golds, x silvers, and x bronzes, it makes it so much more meaningful, even to someone who doesn't own the system.

Good times, but unfortunately good things don't last and the Silent Hill series is going downhill fast.

What a surprise.
It's been almost a year. Give it up already and move on. What happened happened and there's no going back and removing all the hype the game had. It may not have had the most wacky or fun gameplay out of the GTA series, but damn did the care and attention to detail alone keep me coming back for some time.
BTW - The review scores for Godfather II have been all over the place. Anyone who is in possession of the game care to inform me on whether its worth $60 to someone who loves op...

What's wrong with the PSN? I've noticed nothing wrong with it. It's free, it does what it is supposed to do, and it works well. What more do you want, 11,000 features you may never use? Isn't that a reason why people bashed the PS3 in the first place, because of all its features?
