Am I reading that out of context or something, or does it just not make any sense (in relation to the article)?
Oh I can smell what he is cooking. It's going to be the biggest and best reunion between car lover and (virtual) car we've ever witnessed.
Bring it on Kaz.

IGN is A LOT more than just a gaming site.
I mean, 9 (the short film) was released in 2005, and had been in development for FOUR AND A HALF YEARS before Media Molecule had even come into existence.
If anything, it should be the other way around, with LBP being 9: The Video Game.
Of course, both the game and film stand on their own merits, and I doubt that the similarities are much more than pure coincidence (although it is possible that MM may have borrowed some ideas from the short film).
Either...
I remember when people were saying how this game was going to fail because they thought the graphics were sub-par.
Well, this is a prime example of a game having such solid gameplay that visuals can take a back seat and everything is still peachy.
I'll admit that Demon's Souls hasn't really been on my radar until now, but I will definitely be picking this up soon after it releases.
@Thom: Ah, the wariness seems a lot more reasonable now. From Software i...
"The first part covers console generations 1-5 all the way from Atari 2600 to the PS1"
I was about to commend them for leaving out the current generation; then I read that they will most likely be included in a part two. Sigh.
Anyways, to be on topic, I loved Black & White, but that was before I was completely ruined by the internet and it's massive hype machine.
Shenmue, while I haven't played (blasphemy lol), I hear nothing but praise about. What exactly made it so niche that it appealed to everybody on N4G and such, but nobody in the larger mar...
As long as they add some more variety to the missions, this game is going to be excellent.
Really, I mean everybody hates on the first game, but the only thing that was wrong with it was the repetitive missions.
I've been anticipating this since rumors of its development started leaking a while back.
By the way, anybody know if the island is going to be a similar size to the island of the first game? The shear amount of exploration that could be done was...
Rules 1 and 2, f*g.
;)
That's sort of what I'm imagining. Something of a mix between GTA, Assassin's Creed, and maybe The Saboteur.
Really, as long as it's open world, I'll be happy.
"Im not going to answer that question, if you were a gamer you would know what good exclusives it has."
Hyyyyyyypocriiiiite....
And you're right, we shouldn't be arguing with you. After posting that big huge rebuttal above, I realized that you are nothing more than a mindless troll.
These creatures can't be reasoned with, people.
"PS3 has an underpowered graphics card, confirmed by crytek employee
And what good exclusive games does ps3 have? MGS4 what else?"
I'm not even going to bother replying to that. It's the same as saying "The 360 has no cell so it's underpowered, and the only good exclusive game is Halo 3."
"Killzone has a mediocre campaign and terribly unbalanced multiplayer. How is it good? ITS NOT"
If Killzone had a mediocre campaign,...
According to comments I've seen in the past, apparently VGChartz "fixes" their numbers once the NPD is released. Now I have no idea about the credibility of that statement, but it has gotten flung around here before.
But in general, I'd be wary of anything that claims it can take a job that normally requires several different tracking firms (world-wide numbers) and accurately reproduce similar results on its own.
Haha, yeah. It was actually a pretty fun game, if I remember correctly.
Screw you guys; it's all about the Forklift Simulator. Brought to you by the same guys who made:
> Agriculture Simulator 2008 (2008) Windows
> Agriculture Simulator 2009 (2009) Windows
> Bus Simulator 2008 (2007) Windows
> Bus Simulator 2009 (2009) windows
> The Cooking Professionals (2006) Windows
> Crane Simulator 2009 (2008) Windows
> Diving 2008: The Diving Simulator (2007) Wind...
They mentioned that once you leave a region you will not be able to come back... But of course there is (paid no doubt) DLC planned to allow you to return. What bullshit. Totally turned me off the game.
Absolutely true. This will be the best looking racing game to EVER grace consoles. When it's 2007 "demo" looks better than most full games in 2009, you know that you are on to a winner.
You know how everybody says "quality over quantity?" Well with GT5, we are going to get both -- the best console graphics of the generation, 1000 cars and 80+ tracks, yet the gameplay is STILL going to be ultra-realistic and engrossing.
Car lover's wet dream? You b...
I've had problems with freezing, especially when going into account settings. Either it freezes or takes ages to bring up the menu.
Other than that, I've never had problems with any updates either. The people that run around screaming "FW X.XX bricked my system!!!" take an issue that affects a very small minority and exaggerate it greatly.
I'm not saying that there aren't problems -- there are; however, the chance that you get affected by them is pretty sma...
This is how it should be. We are all racing fans, regardless of whether you can play all the games or just the one for your respective console.
Forza is looking great. I'm getting jealous of you Xbox owners! :D
Yeah, the original was really down to earth. DiRT can really stand on its ground; it has survived well through the erosion of time.
I'm sorry for that, people. Really, I am. :|
