You can't use total sales to make this comparison. The S has skewed very heavily in certain countries but in the US it's always been closer to 50/50 or 60/40 for the S, and the X had been gaining ground for several months. Why would you think Mat Piscatella would lie? I don't even see how this information bothers you so much...
I mean nobody thought silent hill 2 would be anything close to a success...and then the review scores came out.
There were a ton of big games that just came out, doubt many people are putting more money down on a preorder now.
Finding the actual article in that ocean of ads on mobile was almost impossible
I'm honestly surprised he is still there, if only because most C suite execs only exist to trim the fat with layoffs and overwork the remaining staff before collecting a sweet bonus then jumping ship to the next exploitable situation
Rumors are both are in development simultaneously
I find this so hard to believe. Mainly because at the earnings report they said "no major first party titles" and that sales will be down while suddenly 6 months later they're dropping the most expensive game ever made that they view as a Star Wars level franchise and the future of Playstation?
Obviously Concord is a huge flop and Hulst has some explaining to do to his bosses but if this was $400 million he'd be gone
It works because the cost is low and they're focusing on remaking games with upcoming TV shows, movies, etc. Remastering TLOU was easy (and Druckman also said it let new ND staff get up to speed) and having the game available on PS5 helped boost the sales when the show was out.
Financially the strategy works well because it's an easy ROI (Spiderman Remaster cost them $11 million to make) but the hardcore people who keep up with rumors and watch SoPs would have alrea...
No idea where the dislikes come from. Hulst has proven he only wants to tell us about new games when they're practically on store shelves. Naughty Dog could have a game coming out in October and he'd think a September show is too soon to reveal it
GOW 2018 remastered
.
It's COD and the number at the end of the title went up by 1. casuals are going to flock to it regardless of it being a steaming pile of shit or the second coming of christ.
One of the dumbest questions I've ever heard. Guy hasn't told the truth in over 20 years
The best evidence that shows Xbox is no longer important to them is that Phil Spencer said it was
Assuming it is the heavily rumored Forza, I imagine Forza Horizon would actually do pretty well on PS5, there aren't really any racers like that on the market anymore. Might even be a Sea of Thieves level hit depending on the release window
ABK is the only thing keeping them afloat. Without them they would be down 4%

Xbox gamers compared to PS5/Switch are significantly less likely to buy games. Xbox is a gamepass machine and xbox gamers are gamepass gamers. If you're game isn't f2p or on gamepass then xbox players will ignore it
Its launch aligned. The 360 had pretty decent sales numbers at the end of its lifespan due to Kinect which is where the One really trailed off as it had no legs. That late gen success is partly why they went so hard on the Kinect at the Xbox One reveal
Use the steam savings to buy solar panels
This isn't early access. It's a beta with 2 weekends. You get access to both weekends with a preorder or PS+
I'll be able to tell my grandchildren about Starfield 1 before they experience Starfield 2
