You guys need to chill. Holy $@%*. Every company needs someone to keep them straight. PS3 definitely benefited from 360 in terms of social integration and price point. MS may look like the antichrist right now, and it may seem like there are no logistics to buying into them right now. However, their arrogance will cost them in the same way it cost Sony. Maybe a year or two from now their deep pockets will put them in a good light again, but to want them gone is being short-sighted. Sony would...
Yeah the ship segments look great. I also like the weaponless stealth segments, bars, and underwater exploration though. Looks like a good time.
While I agree the xbox seems to be having more issues than the ps4, there's no point in stooping to the level of picking apart the negatives like a vulture. We're not getting X1s and I'm sure we have more than enough reasons to justify our choice. Let the Xbox fans worry about it or downplay it on their own. If a few happen to trickle into an article about the ps4 overheating, at least we can say we're better than that. Am I right?
While MGS4 was an amazing (if sometimes out there) addition to the metal gear canon, everything I've seen of MGS5 just looks over the top ridiculous. The graphics are amazing, but the story, characters, and action/stealth amalgamation are questionable at best.
That and MGS4 isn't a prequel to a trilogy. If anything, you could argue MGS3 was a prequel to a trilogy...at one point.
Some nice features. Let's get those degrees up.
Exactly...I don't think anyone could ever say they "need" it. It's always a matter of wanting it with video games. Currently, I want it but I can't afford it. I'll survive though since PS3 still has new games and there isn't much in terms of killer app games on either console right now. I'll sit down to some Resogun, KZ, and AC4 when I get mine in Spring.
Yeah I would sooner take an Infamous, Uncharted, GoW, Ni No Kuni sequel,Last Guardian, or an MM game. I don't know how much longer I can play Demons' Souls. Have been trolled by people with that armour degrading spear too many times. The only reason they win is because their inventory is always full of the best healing items. I definitely had a way better time with the original monster hunter on ps2.
And on ps4 as well. That would be great. Kind of want a tools of destruction over a crack in time -type game though. ToD was more classic and true to the series. It felt more expansive whereas ACiT had a focus on smaller worlds and ship combat/exploration (2 things they could have done better in that game). The plot twist and the museum were nice touches though.
From what I can tell, they are a pretty biased site that mostly focuses on x1 and phone games. Based on what they cover and enjoy, I would say they aren't the best reviewers to model your gaming tastes after. I've accepted many games not living up to the hype. Not sure why people can't accept that this isn't that good even subjectively. I thought everyone knew from the outset. This game had good graphics but looked terrible in terms of gameplay and even AI. If you like it, goo...
Sounds like a good game from all the reviews. I'm glad since I was interested in it, but my friend said the third was a deuce and I wasn't a fan of how they basically sold the second game three times.
Could only imagine a 2014 release if it was a somewhat limited prologue version (ex. a $40 game). Could be likely based on their track record. See what I did there?
It's true. I'm looking forward to how the consoles develop over the next two years. Not to mention how the games develop. I think we'll be in for a treat with the upcoming Naughty Dog and Bethesda games...and comparing with last gen, they might only be the equivalent of Oblivion and Drake's Fortune. Just amazing!
Is it? I think that makes sense considering all the people I know who run netflix on their ps3. Anyone notice the new update of the user interface? I'm wishing there was a way to change the settings because the picture in the top half makes it so you can only see half the selection you previously could.
I wouldn't say it's biased. Having the cold start up time of one console be close to the standby start up time of the other just makes the latter console look bad. It would be biased if the PS4 was cold booted and the Xbox was standby booted and they ended the comparison there.
I always preferred ps3 netflix to 360 and pc netflix, so I'm not sure where these multimedia arguments spring from. PS3 and PSP ended up having ridiculous media capabilities after a few updates, and I expect PS4 to go in the same direction.
I see your pain there. I thought about amazon prime, but I don't buy enough for it to be worth it. Usually settle for free shipping. I think the best bet for console pre-orders is reserving one at a store and picking it up on day one. At least in Canada.
Yeah man I totally downloaded it. I didn't even realize there was a disc release until I saw it a few weeks ago lol. Apparently Q4B comes with this disc, so that's worth it for people who have not played it. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Kind of unfortunate since quest for booty was 15 dollars and this is twice the price for a similar amount of content. I love R&C and will pick this up, but I'll definitely wait for a price drop (and for when I'm not broke lol).
I've seen a few ads on AMC. I think it's out there.
That's why I disagreed. That and if you start comparing open-world games (no matter how good they look) to other genres, the open-world games will often be at a disadvantage. I expect a few games releasing next year to trump this visually without breaking a sweat.
