Ico hd and liberty city stories? Two games I've never had the pleasure of playing all the way through. Fantastic month IMO. The people that complain the most usually expect too much/buy too many games anyway.

I'll have to try it out then. Was kind of unimpressed that mages get less than 20 spells pretty much compared to having nearly 100 in xi. I guess I should stop comparing but that was probably my favourite gaming experience (and most frustrating) of all time and I could kill to relive it.
It looks so generic and lacking in depth compared to ffxi. Anyone have word on whether this game is good now? I bought the collector's edition before, so I suppose I should try it out (although set up will probably take me a day).
I heard it was a pc with ps4 specs though while the x1 games ran on a nvidia 700 series. Could be horribly wrong though.
Dude god of war on portable and on the home consoles is not the same thing. They are different games with different stories, etc. A Microsoft exclusive is less of a big deal because everyone and their grandmother owns a pc. Also, timed exclusivity means nothing. It just means ps4 gamers will get infamous when titanfall comes and then later in the year they can pick up titanfall and more good times will be has by all.
Will Microsoft add a touch pad? It will probably end up being more useful lol. My favourite new feature is probably the idea they got from wii. That little mono speaker will add a lot of immersion to games and will be cool for the game to communicate through (ex. Receiving missions and tasks over a radio or phone).
Loved kz2. Was it just me or did a lot of people suck at the controls? I would be first out of 30 people pretty much every time. I remember going about the map getting kills with abilities and my main gun, running out of ammo, then going about getting headshots with that revolver (great from the hip shooting in that game btw).
Wouldn't matter if it was a soft 60 to me. I can notice a slight difference between 60 and 30 but the difference between 45 and 60 tends to be completely negligible.
I like mods in wacky games like unreal tournament but that's about it. The biggest benefit to me is the graphic mods but those obviously cant be done on consoles. I think gta v will be such a large and diverse game that mods will feel unnecessary...and it already looks beautiful.
But there's no way for the developer to get that money regardless. I think it's just a way for developers to stop people from making money off their game which is fair. Mmo devs won't let money be made from gold selling either and I think that's fair. At least uploads aren't barred entirely. Most mmorpg videos on YouTube that are worth watching aren't monetized and only have a few thousand views anyway.

Yeah, I've never been a fan of the gunplay or controls in splinter cell. This one doesn't do anything to stand out but it's not terrible by any means. I'd give it an 8 personally. Still an A-

I'm expecting late November now considering they haven't announced the date by now. Plus there are a lot of rumours on gaf about the ESRAM having poor production yields and that might be hindering them a bit.
Ugh the fanboys are blind. Ryse will get mediocre scores but if we're talking graphics it's hardly leaps and bounds ahead of what we saw with god of war this gen. Of course the people saying otherwise wouldn't know though since they didn't play any of the ps3 exclusives. Also have you see the HD footage of killzone multiplayer? I would be open to preferring Xbox exclusives if there were enough (not just timed). Have people already forgotten that the last 3 years of the 360's life have had a dismal lineup? Disagree with the truth if you want. It also doesn't help that 343 is on halo now and cliff has departed from epic. Fable has also been going down the crapper in a similar manner to insomniac if not worse.
It had it for multiplats too. Most of the popular games were dedicated I believe. With the new charge for online I wouldn't be surprised if they became standard. That and not having dedicated servers doesn't negatively affect online gaming nearly as much as the elitists say.
Pretty much saying a system is worth buying for what comes out at launch. I believe in longevity. I bought a ps3 at launch but it wasn't the launch games that swayed me. It was all about the prospects.

Disagree if you want. I just get the feeling that the game is very streamlined and solo centric. They definitely took a lot of things from wow which I never liked.
