de_dust 1 and 2. Oh man, the memories. aztec is legendary too, and I would put that before a bunch of those. Im sure they wanted to keep the variety though, so they must have kept it so that 1 game could only make 1 spot on the list. Minus of course Halo, because Halo transcends all criticism. Lolz, joking of course. I do remember playing that Halo 2 map a lot with my friends back on the original xbox.
"IGN can’t help but chuckle at the irony of Shaun White Skateboarding, a game that presents an uninspired world yet its biggest failing is a total lack of inspiration."
Anybody else notice the absolutely poor writing/editing that's going on here?
Agree with vickers500.
By no means am I defending Activision; I think they're downright crooks. But the same standard should be applied to every other company. I hope that most companies plan to release downloadable content, and even have it somewhat conceptualized, but still need additional extra time post-production to warrant actually paying for it.
I don't know what developers and publishers have in mind, but I can only hope that they keep a leve...
Id venture and agree with some of these pro Move comments. The move, though I've personally never tried (yet really looking forward to) seems to be very much accurate and in fact so accurate that some notable developers (GG and Zipper) have mentioned the initial difficulty for DS3 users to migrate to the Move for the precise reason that DS3 users weren't as "still" as they though they were (and thus not quite as accurate). So I look forward to test more accurate ways to aim ...
Hahaha. Right on brotha.
I hope I don't come out as a "hater", I loved CoD4 and clocked in probably around 100 hours. I've personally lost interest because of the same formula, but I certainly don't deny other people the pleasure of enjoying it. I do think that it's not very fair to charge full price for basically a mod, utilizing the same engine. Less work was put into the making of the game, which is why they can release version after version, hence the word "milking" which has b...
Really looking out for your good health. Drink a supersized pepsi and eat a burger n fries and burn the calories playing Kinect in your living room. Never see the light of day.
Always looking out for what's best, Microsoft. And I thank you.
hahahaha.
Gorgeous. 1:17 onward, as the sun sets and the lighting changes drastically. Just beautiful. The colors and the light, if I could hop in the game with my easel i'd paint the hell out of that landscape!
Hope they announce the release date soon.
well sure. I feel ya, and I don't. Sony most definitely cares about turning over a profit, but I do feel like they are very considerate about creating quality products and experiences, and keeping to that philosophy is a very rare thing for a corporation methinks. Integrity is something I think Microsoft generally lacks (which might be why they'd rather spend half a billion on marketing rather than investing/supporting studios).
I'm not gonna comment on fanhoes, c...
sold out in Toronto...
I'm in Toronto. I was walking down Yonge st. and found that Microsoft had rented out a commercial space and were inviting people to come in and try Kinect. I looked around for a bit; it does look like Microsoft knows what they're doing in order to sell these things. They had a proper Wii-type lineup it seemed - I mean, it's smart business I think, selling family games or just mainstream type stuff. I dig the idea of a no controller setup, but not until it's so accurate so as t...
awww yeah. My buddy just got a PS3 and Uncharted 2. We're playing this tonight for sho.
Man, I've had a few to drink and rarely post comments, but I will tonight. PC gamers do kind of piss me off sometimes, because you guys fully concentrate on the resolution. And though I may agree with you partially, you're still not dealing with the fact that some experiences come exclusively on consoles.. Crysis, though graphically superior, is not a very interesting game. And yes, you can bust out half-life 2 with some serious resolution increase, but quite frankly it's not too ...
Ya I feel you. That's just about the way that I'd put it.
I dig it. I think graphics are important, because i'm looking to be immersed in an experience. The more immersed I am, the more mentally (and arguably physically) I am involved in the reality of an alternate world. I think "gaming" nowadays is taking a very mature step in defining the medium as being more than just gameplay. It's always about interacting with an environment, which I suppose you'd call "gameplay", but it's generally the idea of transporting ...
I feel you and I don't. I hope there's a way to customize what you see a bit more than KZ2. I found that sometimes I was in the mood for pure realist experience and would turn the HUD off, but sometimes I wanted to turn off specific things but keep a bit of information to know what the objective was and stuff.
So for the arcady points, I feel like in a sense it would add a bit more of that addictive and rewarding feel to it, but i'd certainly like to be able to tu...
Video editing is terrible. I also would have liked to see more firefight rather than focusing on random parts of the map. That being said, it looks INCREDIBLE. Serious props to GG; I mean it's beautiful. I'm also curious what the huge energy machine was all about. I would love it if it was an objective specific for the map. Like one team has to destroy it and one has to defend, but rather than be just a planted bomb, it's like this crazy map specific objective point. Loved the ene...
That's why I stick with Sony, personally. I'm glad to hear other feel it too. I'm interested in the video game medium maturing beyond what we normally consider video games to be. I'm not interested in how a "triple-A" game is a triple-A game because it's a top seller. Essentially, hundreds of millions of people eat at McDonalds, but I don't give a fuck. What I give a fuck on is a nice little restaurant that cares about the quality of food. As long as Sony is ...
I agree here. Wouldn't make sense with the hugely additional costs to provide a feature that wouldn't be compleeeeetely unnecessary. You don't need 1080p on a mobile sized screen to experience brilliant resolution.
