@deadreckoning, at times I sincerely appreciate that you can objectively criticize some things. But other times I see right through your "devil's advocate" attitude. You do have something against Sony, which is fine, but your comments come off as very fanboyish.

Move is selling pretty well at launch, and I expect that as Sony supports it with quality titles (and I hope they really do), it will continue to sell strongly. Yes, Kinect is also selling strongly. Now,...

Well, @Alpha explains it pretty well. COD4 was a great game, and its gameplay formula was very solid. It kept me playing it for a very long time, and long nights. Passing the controller back and forth between my friend and I, getting high, and ripping it online.

How many times can it be milked before it really gets stale? Well I think it's stale now, but tens of millions don't agree with me. IMO, as long as the competition keeps evolving then it's only a matter of...

Yup. But in the millions. And executed sloppily and prematurely.

You know, i'm very strict on visuals. I refer back to the distinction a japanese developer once made about the difference between 'graphics' and 'art design'. Now, graphics being more often measured in 'Western' terms seems to be about TECHNICAL POWER! Art design is more subtle, more genius work IMO, and can make a game look beautiful despite technical shortcomings. Games like PixelJunk Eden and Flower, IMO, were graphically gorgeous.

Anyway, I loo...

Well. I've got to agree with InvaderZim on this one, @kaveti: I understand there's a lot of PS3 fanaticism on N4G, but not everyone is completely nonsensical. You're comment seemed to me as being unnecessarily combative - in that I don't know if you're being genuine in displaying YOUR opinion toward the game or simply being a devil's advocate. I think it's the latter. Expect a 'circle jerk' when gameplay of a beloved franchise is being revealed, because qui...

I really want more games for it... I know they're coming, but I'm already bored of Sports Champions. I should get MAG but I suppose i'm waiting for KZ3. Sorcery looks amazing, and I hope that UC3 and inFamous2 have Move support. In fact, I hope everything has Move support because i'd probably play it rather than the DualShock. So far I see a lot of potential in terms of tight controls!

Roflz. Now, I would consider myself an admirer of Sony, and a pretty darn big fan of the PS3. I don't own an Xbox. I wouldn't classify myself as a fanboy, however.

All the hate going toward IGN is supported seemingly purely by that fanboy mentality. You're right, journalists do write these reviews, but don't make the mistake of thinking that the company they're representing doesn't have a fair share of ideological agendas. Now, I don't know enough ...

Ahh man. Alpha I got to disagree with you there. I just got the Move a couple days ago and the way that i've seen it perform for Sorcery, I could see it being a huge plus for inFamous 2. In the sense of performing magic through arm movements, initiating energy through a dance, and then pushing said energy toward the enemy in an accurate thrust.

I don't think that applying Move controls for any game is too taxing on dev time (though I can't say that for certain). E...

wow. Funniest series of comments i've read on N4G in a while. Truthful and representative of gaming pop culture.

But seriously, GT5 better have Kinect support or it is FULL OF FAIL$%@!

teehee :P

@Alpha

I understand what you're saying. KZ2 MP had some issues; I wasn't addicted to the gameplay as I was in COD4, as well. Something about KZ2 MP, for me, felt a bit too chaotic. There was no time to breath. At the same time, I had some moments in KZ2 MP that were simply mindblowing, and I can't say the same for COD.

That's in major part due to the level of immersion, but also the variety of interactions, like the bots firing at the air unit...

Yes exclusives matter because I enjoy playing them. More often than not, if a game is properly supported and developers make use of the system that it's on, then the level of quality is unprecedented.

And I enjoy a quality experience, rather than a compromised one.

I think things should be open-source. A lot of beautiful projects result out of being able to exploit a system's flaws.

Hahahahaha.

Whoo, good laugh. Very true, I admire Kaz's demeanor. Seems humble, and extremely passionate. Looks like he's been putting in work.

Haha, for some reason, as a proper homage to the original Golden Eye 64, I almost feel like the graphics should be complete shit. AND in 3D. Would be so funny.

When I go back and play Goldeneye 64 (and I have about a year ago), it was so disorienting I couldn't tell what was what. Same with having played one of the original Twisted Metals.

anyway all hail GoldenEye64 cause that was amazing. We should run it by GG to make a remake of the Facility, or the L...

Hahahaha. That was really hilarious... they've found the right formula with Butler. Love the way he drives off, just a maniac haha.

The only thing that seems shitty is the lack of weather and day/night transitions for every track. At least I would have liked day/night transitions on every one... Or, do you think that every track has the option of being raced in day, OR night, rather than transition? Cause that would be totally fine.

Either way, it's GT5, and it's been in development for 5+ years. I'm POSITIVE it will be mindblowing in all aspects.

Wow dude. I own a Mac, and I game on my PS3, so i'm not coming from a PC fanatic point of view. But what you just wrote is retarded. You charge someone 60$, you better not deliver a broken game. Thats the bottom line. Man, I just don't believe the type of people that support this kind of shit.

I feel ya. I live in downtown Toronto, and the city is plastered with Kinect ads. I don't dig it - I mean I just don't like Microsoft's approach. But Kinect probably works better than some people thought, and is definitely worth a try (I haven't tried it yet). With all the cash Microsoft is spending on advertising, i'd bet the hardware works pretty darn well.

So far though, I haven't seen Kinect offer the type of experiences that i'd normally be i...

Props to Rainstorm and Melman!

There is a debate to be had (often between two competing consoles), and most of the time it results in silly banter.

But you two were able to put that fanboyism aside and to look at the topic and discuss it maturely. Bubz for you.
