It's coming April 1st. I'm pretty sure this is a joke.
What the hell do people want? It stays true to the Infamous style of doing things and since the past games played so great, why change them now? I'm glad they didn't change the basic gameplay.
Some people are just never happy. You can tell that Sucker Punch put a ton of work into this and yet people feel like they need to look at everything with a microscope to find anything that they deem is WRONG with it.
What ever happened to just enjoying a game f...
I still can't figure out why people didn't buy a PS3 last generation with all the amazing exclusives that came out for it.
Heck, if you're a real gamer, you would have bought a PS3 for all those games you missed out on.
I can't imagine being a 360 owner (only) and constantly be reading about how great TLoU and Uncharted is and never being able to play them because of falsely thinking the 360 is better.
But the PS3 version already looks like a next-gen game. This game doesn't need a remake in my opinion. I'll just play it on PS3 if I want to play it again.
This would be fantastic.
Gameplay doesn't look to far away from the cutscenes already. I hope they bring even more to the table than this.
Another gimmick for the history books I'm afraid.
Let's stick with what works. If I wanna move my eyes around the screen, I'll just move my eyes around on a screen... no need for the image to move at the same time.
The game is great, but I really hope they add a frame rate limiting option in a patch. For people who like unlocked frame rates, you can keep that option off, but as for people like me, it would be nice to be able to limit it to a maximum of 30fps at all times. It makes for a much more consistent experience since it's mostly 30fps anyway.
The only reason I bought a PS4 is for Infamous Second Son.
Not bad. Could use more realistic lighting though.
Graphics look pretty bad. Is this a Vita game?
Infamous 2 was more fun for me. I never even finished Infamous 1 because I got bored. Infamous 2 however, was fun the entire way through.
I couldn't be any less excited for this gimmick.
He didn't say that Second Son was the only exclusive. He was just stating that Sony first party exclusives are great in general.
This could be bad for publishers and developers because if they make a 10 hour campaign, you could rent the game, play the campaign and then never have a reason to buy the game.
They would lose out on a lot of money that way.
Why can't they make the renting similar to the PS+ Game Trials (1 hour), except instead of only an hour, you get a week or something?
Then after that week is up, you can no longer launch the game. However, if you think you might rent the game again, keep it on your hard drive, pay for another week and get immediate access to the game again.
Have video games actually started looking so good that they look bad?
People got used to hard shadows from last gen, and now when they see a soft (realistic) shadow from a weaker light source, they claim it's "pre-baked", "low resolution" or "downgraded".
The developers even came out and said that they choose the time of day based on the feeling they want to get for the particular mission.
Different time of day... shadows are even in different places.
You guys are ridiculous. Ragging on a game because they changed it to a sunset instead of mid-day.
Really? Knowing Naughty Dog? When has a Naughty Dog game ever run at 60fps?
