The PS4 has been awesome from day 1. The xBox still needs improvements, but it's still not going to catch up to the PS4 any time soon.
It can barely run next-gen games... how the hell is it going to run 360 games?

Soldierone... your last 15 minutes of gameplay are always being recorded. To share, you press the share button and you can share the last 15 minutes of game play. So it's not too late. No idea where you got the idea that it only records when you press it.

I think the lighting tech in GTA V looks better than this. The lighting looks so flat like as if it's from the beginning of the PS3 days. What's the deal? Why does everything look so flat and 2-Dimensional?

The 30fps cap will make the game look more consistent. It will play more like Uncharted 2 for example. That rocksteady 30fps will be a very welcome addition.

For me, I dislike how it hovers around 30, then I go to climb up a building and the frame rate skyrockets. It's quite jarring to see the frame rate jump around like that.

They look exactly the same. The only difference is the time of day and weather. Of course when it's raining out, everything is going to look more shiny and detailed. However, it's not raining/night time on the PS4 footage, but that doesn't mean that the PS4 won't have those night time/rainy details.
There is no tearing in the game.
Consoles have no issue with achieving 60fps, but usually developers go for more detail and lower the frame rate. It's just the way the world works.
It doesn't work that way. Lowering the resolution isn't going to automatically give you 60fps. It depends on a lot of factors. Sometimes resolution does very little to frame rate, other times it can affect it.

For those that do not wish to use the option, don't use it. For those of us who appreciate the consistency will have a nicer experience for ourselves.
I'm not trolling. I just have never seen proof that Naughty Dog will release a game running at 60fps.
I believe that some developers prefer the cinematic look of 30fps.
With 60fps, things look too smooth and gives you that arcade feel which might ruin the atmosphere of the game.
In my opinion... 60fps makes a game look "arcady" and fake. Also, 60fps makes the animations look worse too. You'll notice flaws much easier.
Again, in my opinion, 60fps is a constant reminder that you're playing a video game and it's harder to watch a story driven game that is supposed to have that cinematic feel.

What the hell is wrong with having OPTIONS. If you don't want to lock the game down to 30, then don't, but don't bitch about it being there when it's totally OPTIONAL.
I'm so sick of people hating on us because we like consistency over having the game just pump out as many or as few frames as possible. This introduces a lot of judder.
