Oculus Rift is known to make people sick.
With a controller, 30fps feels fine to me.
However, with a mouse, 30fps feels very sluggish.
Since controllers aren't as speedy as a mouse, 30fps is useable and it's preferred over CoD-type visuals at the cost of running 60fps.
60fps isn't much of an upgrade. So you're basically saying, you're fine with PS3 graphics then... what's the point in buying a new console if your only concern is making last-gen-looking games run at 60fps?
Why should they stop there. They could increase the graphic fidelity even more and keep the 30fps in my opinion.
If this is the best we're gonna get, but the frame rate gets turned up, that's pretty disappointing.
I want some graphics like the Sorcerer demo.
Funny thing is.. when they get to the point where they can have Second Son graphics at 60fps, they'll probably want to go even further by having more dynamic lights and more detail and that will force them to drop back down to 30 again.
Why have pretty good graphics at 60fps instead of mind blowing graphics at 30fps?
So is the frame rate unlocked?
The graphics haven't been downgraded.
It's called different times of day and weather.
Get the same weather (rain) and time of day (night) as the 2012 trailer and you'll see that it's the same or better.
HE CAN DRIVE!
Wow, where'd you find magazines with videos in them? Are you from the FUTURE?
Hey! You're like me! Infamous 2 wasn't even on my radar because it did not look like my kind of game, but then I played the demo and had a blast with it. Then I bought the game and platinum'd it. It's the only game I've ever gotten 100% on... that's how much I loved it.
Ummm.... Second Son is an open world game and I think it looks better than MGS GZ.
It's hardly changed at all. Different times of day are obviously going to make the game look different. I think it still looks great.
That first clip of the orange car is just an unflattering combination of car/spotlight/time of night.
To be honest, AC4 is probably the worst looking AAA PS4 game. It really looks like an HD remake.
Exactly. Show me a PC game that looks anything like The Last of Us for pete's sake. PCs can be as powerful as they want, but the really good games come to console only.
Ask PC owners how Red Dead Redemption and GTA V are.
Ground Zeros looks really good, but it looks more like a late last-gen game than a next-gen game. I mean, look at the freakin' PS3 build of the game... it's nearly identical to the next-gen version. Obviously the textures and frame rate have been increased in the next-gen versions, but texture quality and frame rate doesn't really make a game next gen to me.
I expect more from a next gen game. More objects in the environment. More vegetation. Better lighting. Long...
Do you have any clue about software development? There isn't a single piece of software with perfect code. It's all made by humans and humans make mistakes.
There are going to always be bugs that were missed.
There is room for improvement ALWAYS and if devs waited until the game was "perfect" it would never get released because it would never be "perfect".
You understand what I'm saying?
Okay
The beauty of GTA is that you can roam around in a world where you can do almost anything you want. That's why we play video games... to do things we normally wouldn't do otherwise.
You don't even have to be violent in GTA V... you can drive around and admire the beauty of the world, go mountain climbing... ride a bike... take a jet-ski out for a ride. There are so many things to do and see in GTA that has nothing to do with violence.
But then whe...
They lowered the price for everyone hollabox.
I believe the console will have to be able to run the game at 120hz (60hz for each eye) in order to look realistic.
