How is 10 seconds quick? Isn't it just as fast to hold the PS button and turn off the device from the menu?
They look the same.
I really miss grinding wires and kinetic pulse.
Looks exactly the same except for the camera angles.
For me, I remember the game for the story and how fun it was, not how good it looked.
When I think back to the games I've played years ago, textures, frame rates and resolutions aren't what I remember.
Playing a game at 720p vs 1080p doesn't make a difference to me because it's the same damn game. It's not like the extra pixels are going to make the game fun to play or the story good.
Heck, being amazed at the graphics onl...
It doesn't mention anything about multiplayer, so this actually might be a possibility.
What good will this do? Everyone will be busy playing Advanced Warfare? Why would they kill their own sales with this?
The lighting looks so flat. I think GTA V has better lighting.
It's not a bad looking game, but it looks kinda boring. It doesn't have an artistic style to it, yet it doesn't reach photo quality... so it's just kinda generic looking.
Umm... Second Son already beat that. Heck, Shadow Fall beat it as well.
The Last of Us is clearly a last-gen game. It looks pretty good, but not "next-gen" good.
Trust me, as time goes on, you're gonna go back and play the Last of Us and you're gonna be like "Wow, I thought these were cutting edge graphics?"
Lots of screen tearing (and I don't think it's because it's recorded off of a TV).
It's obviously not going to run as well on a PS3.
DVD to Blu-ray is just a resolution change. I hope it's more than just higher resolution.
He's right. As they try to fit more and more detail to the games, they're always going to want the maximum render time so they will always choose to aim for 30fps.
However, the people who want to push faster frames can always play on PC where they can decide for themselves what's more important to them. Graphics or framerate.
I've said this a hundred times, you'll ALWAYS have better graphics at a LOWER frame rate. If the developers want ...
I hope this doesn't turn out to be the generation of unlocked frame rates. What ever happened to a smooth consistent frame rate?
Uncharted 2 was 30fps, but it was ROCK SOILD and the game was a true masterpiece.
Yes.
Infamous Second Son is much better locked. In the city, it ran at roughly 35-40fps so that created a lot of stuttering because of odd numbers of duplicate frames. However, the 30fps update is so much smoother now. Camera pans are very steady and I'm not seeing that stuttering anymore.
I thought I read that Watch Dogs was 30fps...
Gaming router? Hah!
You better sell me some gaming speakers while you're at it.
Uncanny valley refers to humans being portrayed digitally.
It would be nice if they showed the same tracks.
lifeisgamesok ... I totally agree!
Lighting is one of my biggest concerns so far this gen. We really haven't seen what these machines are truly capable of yet because cross gen releases generally look someone bland.
Yes, Call of Duty Ghosts is 1080p on the PS4 and although the textures are sharp and the image is crisp... it still has that last-gen look to it. The lighting is a tiny bit better than the PS3 version, but that's mainly due to the dynamic ...
