Weird. GTA V has dynamic clouds without mods.
What are you talking about. I've seen plenty of videos of Second Son and he does cast a shadow.
Looks like a last gen game.
Just watched that video in 1080p and it doesn't look next-gen to me.
I don't think Unity looks very good.
Have you ever thought that maybe people buy it because they don't wanna get left behind in an old game that nobody plays anymore?
Have you also considered the fact that people wanna play on new refreshing maps or play with new guns?
There are variations to the different COD games.
Also, Killzone's field of view isn't very wide. When you look in real life you see basically everything below your neck, but the camera is zoomed in more in Killzone so you see from the knees down instead of your whole body.
In Outlast, the field of view is really wide, so when you look down you basically see your entire body.
Joel was gay? Didn't know that.
I'm sick of people saying "It's 2014, it should be widely accepted by now"...
HELLO! There are still millions of people not comfortable with gay people. I could handle having a gay protagonist, but I obviously can't speak for everyone. One man's opinion is not going to be the same as everyone's opinions.
Please make it so you can see your feet. It's an immersion killer when my character doesn't cast a shadow or has legs.
Killzone Shadow Fall does it right. I can see my shadow, I have feet and I feel like I have presence in the world.
How is a 1080p image on a 1080p screen blurry? When the game resolution matches 1:1 with the display resolution, it shouldn't be blurry.
Are you saying a 1080p image on a 1080p screen is blurry, but a 1440p image on a 1440p screen is not?
They're both running 1:1 with the screen resolution.

1. Tomb Raider does not look better than anything else on the market. It looks like a last gen game running at 1080p. It still looks very last gen.
2. Tomb Raider does not always run at 60fps. It dips down a lot (which can be quite jarring... I'd rather play a consistent 30fps game than deal with frame drops).
3. High End PCs can play Tomb Raider with no sweat. What are you talking about?
Exactly. With faster hardware and more RAM, developers are able to make bigger and more demanding games and that's going to mean a choice is going to be made... 60fps or 30fps.
60fps with less detail
30fps with more detail.
For those that don't know, there was a Killzone Shadow Fall update that allows you to lock the frame rate to 30fps for single player.
I just want to game to be fun to play. Afterall, that's what games are for. However, if it's just a graphics demo, then I don't want it.
Who cares? If the developer wants it to be 30fps, then you're just gonna have to get over it.
If this is going to be the 60fps gen, then be prepared to have average graphics at the cost of 60fps frame rate.
ramiuk1: You can play The Last of Us with a Dualshock 4 right now. Just plug it into the USB port and play it. What's stopping you? The rumble?
I bought Killzone SF because I wanted to see what my brand new PS4 was truly capable of and I didn't see that in CoD or Battlefield.
I'm sure a lot of people did exactly the same thing as me.
I'm stoked for Infamous Second Son. The first 2 were amazing.
To all you whiners. You don't get to decide how games look and run on consoles. If you want to control the frame rate and resolution, build a PC.
If you bought a console, then you shouldn't care about frame rate and resolution... those decisions are made by people who know much more than you.
I like consoles for the games... not about which system can display the most pixels and frames.
