No personal offense to anyone, but Nintendo, in general, has always primarily catered to kids and families.
There's nothing wrong with that.....but, now that I'm a grown man, it's just not for me.

That RYSE Kinect game was an XBOX 360 game. Not anymore.
This late in the gen with an upcoming gen coming,
at the very least, Unless there's a RELEASE DATE, there's nothing that's for certain.....nothing.
That's all I'm sayin.
To be fair though,
MGS 5 on XBOX 360, or any sytem for that matter, doesn't officially exist yet.
This whole gen, We've seen so many delays, cancellations, and changes, and other variables (next gen consoles coming), that I don't think we can say what system(s) MGS5 will arrive on.
No they haven't.
But the fanboy warz have started, so..........
I'd also like to throw at least an honorable mention to BIOSHOCK 1. I can't think of another game where you actually get to kill little girls. That's gotta be worth something "violence-wise".

Some of these examples (such as #4), I'm sure you could say, "Well, PS3 was exactly the same", but trying to compare a 2006 machine(s) to a 2012 machine is a far reach.

After about a year or so, when the install base of the next gen consoles gets to 10 million, then you'll see games start to look "next gen".

Torrence Davis on his recent WARZONE podcast claimed it was a current 46 million Gold subscribers, and when I hear it, it didn't sound quite right.
So a current 2013 estimate of about 25 million paid subscribers (give or take 5 million or so) sounds about right.

AAA Games aren't gonna be cheaper to make and market next gen.

What most certainly I can assure you of, is AAA game development and marketing costs is not gonna get cheaper....that's a guarantee.
When Sony officials have talked about Backwards compatibility for the PS4, the context has always been PS3 B/C, so Sony officials have been addressing PS3 B/C.
We still have no official word on PS1 or PS2 B/C.
Hopefully we get it soon, though.
And it has nothing really to do with the quality of their games.
I think if weighed objectively, from a business perspective, yes Quantic Dream makes really good games, but they are rather expensive. I don't think Sony could recoup such a purchase.
