But don't they like,
Put you in jail for breaking laws in Saudi Arabia....Or worse?
@Angerfist
I'm VERY pro physical copy...very.
But with that said, there is a benefit to digital...especially on the PS3.
Game Sharing.
Instead of having to buy 2 copies for me and my little nephew to play GTA 5, we can both be enjoying it with the same copy.
Game Sharing is especially awesome when it comes to Co Op games like BORDERLANDS 1 & 2.
This is why I don't really believe in digital distribution.
I want my disk, that way there's no lie nor is there any question with whom the game belongs to.
They lied to you to get your preorder on this digital distributed game.
Not cool
There's nothing to defend...
XBONE is less powerful than the PS4....period.
Microsoft should stop defending it and move on to trying to make the best games possible.
Microsoft Corp has virtually unlimited amounts of money....
But Microsoft GAMES does not.
PS4 has more total games announced for it than the XBOX One.
Just sayin.
I'm still rocking an 80 gig Fat.
I'm gonna have to delete a couple things.
Makes sense to me, because for whatever reason, Japan seems to not like home consoles as much anymore these days. I'm not sure why though.
I don't see why a week later would make much if any difference either.
XBONE's problem is Microsoft.
@Ctiboi2010,
The PS3 is also more powerful (slightly) than the XBOX 360 because of the Cell Processor, which is a Power PC based cpu (Power PC based CPUs have an unusually high GFlop capability compared to X86 cpus).
In the PS4 and XBOX One's case, they are using X86 Cpus, which don't have the advantage of carrying high GFlop rates and capabilities. So with those sytems, their GPUs are their primary sourse of "graphic calculations".
@Eddie20101,
I'll take 3 to go please!
;)
PS.....And I'll take 1 Wii U....just in case.
XBOX One will have 3 GPUs.
lol
So basically, YOU CANT build a complete PC for $400....OK.
And Yeah....
Some of that stuff you mentioned, you will be able to do on the PS4.
You can use a web based word processor, for example.
Anyways....thanks for the long-answered sidestep.
Take care, cunnilumpkin. :)
@cunnilumpkin,
I challenge you to build me a COMPLETE and out of the door $400 PC that will match the PS4.
Make sure you don't forget the Windows, the case, BluRay AND the Keyboard & Mouse.
@MysticStrummer...
I agree with you
PC gamers are always claiming that "Consoles hold PC gaming back" nonsense.
But the most anticipated and talked about AAA budget PC exclusive for 2012 was DIABLO 3.
For 2013 it was SIM CITY.
The truth is PCs themselves hold PC gaming back.....Low end "Walmart'ish" PCs and laptops.
CONSOLE MASTER RACE!
:P
Do people hate the XBOX One's hardware this much?
It seems like they do, because everytime I turn around, you have some new upgrade rumor and tons of people seemingly desperate to believe it.
It can't be that bad, could it?
@maximus1985,
Well,
I figure that if good games keep on launching on the PS3 like Grand Theft Auto 5, Beyond 2 souls, and other Cross gen multiplatform games like Watch Dogs.....I imagine the wait won't be so bad at all. I mean, most of the AAA games are coming on both 7th and 8th gen consoles and probably will for a couple more years.
So yeah....I prefer to wait a bit for the 3 reasons I listed previously.
Same BluRay player, sa...
I was never gonna buy a PS4 within the 1st year anyways....I prefer to wait.
1) Make sure there are no bugs and problems
2) Wait for more and better games to arrive.
3) Get a probable price drop, usually within 18 months or so.
I waited 2 years before I purchased my PS3 (holiday 2008), and my PS3 is still running well with alot of games I still have yet to play, so I imagine I'll do well to do that again.
Why does Rockstar give PC gamers the "second class" treatment?
