And mind you, GT5 launched when PS3 had only approx 45 million'ish units sold.
Now try the Gran Turismo franchise (GT6) with 80 million units. :)
Maybe you're ready to move on, and this decision isn't good for you....but it sounds like a great move for Sony.
If you want GT6, I may suggest you hold on to your PS3
When your system breaks and you get a new one from the store, you lose your whole account, including everything you've earned and/or purchased.
Who designs an online infrastructure that ties everything into the device?
Nintendo does, that's who.
They would probably have been better off to let EA design and run it.
Diablo 3 shouldn't have any problem with the PS3.
I mean, lets be real here....For all intent and purpose, Diablo 3 is last gen (6th generation) software tech....basically.
Also, More people have PS3s, so right off the bat, the PS3 will have more people playing the game, which is generally more preferable when dealing with online modes.
I'm sure both versions will be fine.
Backwards compatibility is more important than ever.
Gaikai may be an acceptable alternative.
MUSTANG 5.0 > sti
PS4 = Mustang 5.0
:P
Microsoft has basically abandoned XBOX 360's core game while it's still in motion and has good life potential......
Same with XBOX 1.
Different reasons.....Same'ish result.
HALF LIFE 1 & 2?
:P
:P
If you don't stand for something,
You fall for anything.
I didn't think it would be possible to go lower than them.....
Congrats Deep Silver.
So It's very unlikely that GT6 will come to the PS4....at least during it's launch window.
Maybe they'll port it sometime later or something.
"Perception is reality."
You and anyone else can tell us it's "next gen" until they're blue in the face,
But if everyone believes it's "current gen" and not worth the price of admission, then that's all that will be remembered of the Wii U.
Perception is reality.
:P
Was the trailer.
Dead Island really turned out to be a BORDERLANDS rip off with Zombies.....only, it was way more tedious, with more bugs, and less personality.
I paid only $20 for Dead Island in the bargain bin sometime in summer 2012, and I can't help but feel as if I may have paid 5 or 10 dollars too much.
No way am I gonna waste my time with Riptide for basically more of the same.
--My take.
More like,
More of a MEDIOCRE thing.
It was my first foree into Civ games back then, and I actually liked it.
I don't know what Nintendo can do to change its prospects now.
We'll have to see.....But time is ticking.
Yet here we are...GENERATION 8....and disk based AAA budget games are here once again.
Bottom line, as long as consoles need to be sold in stores then physical media will be present.
And if used games was as big of an issue as purported, then they would end it now, because they could if they wanted to. But obviously, that's not the case.
Then at some point, sooner rather than their usual 5 years, Nintendo is probably going to have to announce a new console.
I used to predict that the Wii U would sell less than the Gamecube....but at this rate, I'm almost ready to predict that it will sell less than the DREAMCAST.
I don't think Nintendo should just up and abandon the Wii U, but if they want to stay in and stay at least somewhat relevant in the HOME CONSOLE market, a new, and better tho...
