hmm reckon this is fake tbh. i know halo 3 is a bit dated now but it certainly doesn't look this bad, although i guess it's a work in progress and all the detail will be added later (see the kz intreviews where they talk about adding in the various details/ lighting effects)

i'm a massive rts fan but been wary of rts on consoles so far, just don't like the control scheme but if they're just workingon the ps3 version they who knows they may be able to crack it.Games like ra3, c&c3 where always pc games ported to the consoles so was hard to get the controls right, end war was a different take on a control scheme which was cool but i thought the gameplay was rubbish. time will tell. perhaps if there we're more mature games i would consider a wii. I don't mean blood and guts but just not so 'kiddy'. Although even then i think because of the control scheme the wii will always be geared towards family or party gaming, and for that i have plenty of fun with my mates on games like guitar hero and buzz. So for now the wii is still a console i doubt i would enjoy more than my ps3/360/pc
bit of an unusualy comparison, and i thought the crysis/kz one we saw was odd haha end of the day its impossible to compare two very different games like this, especially as some screenshots may be from a better quality source than the other.

the article fails to mention why haze is selling so high suddenly... all shops on the uk seem to have dropped the price of haze to £10 to get rid of copies. So obv for a tenner ppl are giving it a go. for me though £10 is £10 too much to play that game if the demo was anything to go off
and yeh gta will be back ontop because some poeple may have held out to get it cheaper/the dlc is nearly out. even ps3 owners may get it because they hear about dlc not realising ...
hmm i'm sorry but this looks very poor. this is the sorta thing i would expect to see on the wii rather than the 360 but it seems both the ps3 and 360 are trying to get to the 'casual gamers' alot more. tbh though atleast lbp planet was accessible but also very very deep. some user created levels amaze me. but still i find it a game that just isn't quite there imo.
i agree with most of that article. think the game will be great, a decent ammount will buy it but its not exactly going to be record breaking figures. fanboys on here will defend/ bash the sales but really the real gamers will enjoy it for being a great game regardless of how well it sells.

Just looks like something different. only prob is i had a quick look around the net and it seems that way back in 2006/7 when ppl were writing reviews on it and so on, that they said not enough played it online. so don't wanna buy it and find theres not even a single server playing :p
for a 'full game' its a shame you need the gta 4 disk to play else i'm sure it would sell a lot more. i mean some people will still have and play gta and want the dlc but i imagine some people could have got bored and traded it in at some point, but may now decide they want this dlc but don't wanna have to buy the game again. considering it is such a big component i don't understand why they couldn't make it a stand alone exclusive, and as mentioned even bringing out a disc version of it
as long as the games good then i'm happy. i don't care that sony is in 'last' place. well actually only the ps3 is in last, and mainly only in america but anyway. point being. 1 console always has 2 be last, just like only 1 can be first. i have the choice of my ps3 and 360 and it really wouldn't make much difference to me which 1 was 'better' than the other since i enjoy games on both.

yeh got into quake live msyelf a few nights ago and so far really impressed with the whole set up. seems more an more of these free to play games are coming out. not a great comparison (and imo it's pretty pointless atm) but home on ps3 is free but has generated loads of money already just from people buying things like virtual clothing :o

bound to be a mistake. for a start why would you allow 16 players locally but only co-op online... and how would 16 offline even work. you'd have to link up atleast 4 tv's/consoles with 4 split screens on each!
