they are both highly respected british games journalists... in fact, gamecentral (Metro's game page) is a publication that has been around as long as Edge, actually mere months before Edge was launched in 1993. it started out as a teletext section.
both edge and metro are well known for no nonsense reviews. what did edge score it?
so disappointed by the review scores this game is receiving, i think this game had a lot of potential
@marloc
yes, and i will also buy a wiiu to play those games, and the xenoblade x i have on pre-order.
it only proves how much i truly am a fan to buy a nintendo console even though i acknowledge it is not good.
im hoping there will be a wiiu for a good price in the black friday sales so i dont have to spend a lot of money on one.
i am only really buying it for xenoblade x. the other games i have are just to make it a worth...
dreamcast was amazing. truly innovative with some of my most memorable gaming moments.
wiiu is trash, literally not worth buying. in fact its the first nintendo console since the NES that i havent bought
yeh, the console is only a good idea if its below £130.
they should cancel it for the wiiu and make it an NX launch title.
releasing it on wiiu is commercial suicide
the final nail in the coffin of a game that already has been getting bad reviews across the board.
it doesnt matter if the NX can render the entire universe and its contents in real time if the console has no third party support.
if the nx isnt at least as powerful as the ps4, it will be dead on arrival
the whole point in investing in new technology is to upgrade. why would anyone bother jumping aboard an alleged next generation console if it is obsolete technology?
hasnt nintendo learnt anything from the wiiu?
nintendo can not sell a product on the strength of a gimmick. it worked with the wii, but it clearly didnt with wiiu. unless the nx is genuinely innovative, i ...
nintendo's new strategy for wiiu is to use it as a dumping ground for wii ports until NX arrives. its an insult really since the wiiu is already backwards compatible with the wii lol
no. that was easy
just to scrape together some pennies since they have practically no games to tide them over until the NX arrives?
crash bandicoot
NOA hate money
shenmue was cutting edge when it was released, in every aspect. the freedom, the detail, the depth.
yes, time has moved on and games have evolved in all those departments, but i think shenmue needs to be innovative in those areas to keep its identity.
if it is scaled back or gimped for financial reasons, then its not the shenmue we all want and deserve. it wont be doing itself or the legacy of shenmue justice.
its an unoriginal game
60fps isnt difficult with gamecube era graphics
.. but im glad they want more of platinums identity to it
Finally! reserved my copy!
xenoblade is my fav game of last gen. this game is what will make me purchase a wiiu
the damage control is hilarious.
its just one disaster after the other for wiiu.
they may as well shelve the game for the wiiu and release it as a NX launch title.
its interesting because there were other articles here celebrating a few nintendo titles selling in the millions. platoon and mario maker.
it just goes to prove how fans can spin numbers and info to paint nintendo in a positive light.
nintendo are losing billions
