why didnt they just develop the damn thing in secret about 3 years ago, and then announce it when they have finished it, and then release it all together, in one package.
instead of announcing it when the game is seemingly not even 20percent complete, and then saying they will drip feed it to the market.
wtf is up with the industry?
1- the product. it needs to be interesting and have a clear purpose. if the idea of NX doesnt capture consumers imaginations and make them excited- it wont be successful.
2- the marketing. nintendo need to be clear and concise about what the nx is and what it actually does. they failed miserably in that regard with the wiiu. and if the patents for nx are anything to go by, they are going to have a very tough job explaining this thing...
3- the specs. it need...
WTF are those dials on the back? it looks like one of those 'bop it' toys

a gamepad with a screen is essential for a portable console lol
it will be very interesting to see what nintendo show at e3 2016, marloc
third parties care about sales.
the wii had a lot of third party support, but lacked the specs to run some of the major multi-platform games.
the wiiu just doesnt have the user base. and its tech is ageing rapidly, some may argue its already obsolete.
the NX can get 3rd party support if devs believe it will be a success, and the technology is good enough for them. remember devs did have exclusives for wiiu right at the beginning, such as raym...
also its not only about third party support or multi-platform games, but staying power.
the wii and wiiu had no legs, because spec wise, they were barely adequate when they were released, 2 or 3 years later they were really struggling and looked outdated.
the NX needs to be future proof, it needs staying power. it needs to be about tomorrow, not just the now.
so yes, it needs to be powerful
both. it needs both.
what they should have done is spent the last 3-4 years developing it 'in secret,' so then they can make the big announcement that the game is coming, and then we get it all in one go.
instead they announce it when the project is seemingly only 20percent complete, and then have the audacity drip feed us the game in quarters.
it unacceptable
the games industry is a mess. its pathetic
this game looks very very similar to The Last Story
even the combat looks the same

The games industry is FUBAR.
the director is talking out his ass
"To a great extent, we just couldn’t take the plunge. Producing a proper HD remake of Final Fantasy 7 that maintains the same feeling of density of the original results in a volume of content that couldn’t possibly fit into one installment"
do you know the beauty of gaming is that you can play at your own speed. you play through as much content as you feel comfortable,...
i think the NX is designed as the next gen 3ds as well as the next gen home console.
i think nintendo are attempting to combine the two, and do away with trying to juggle producing games for two systems
from a consumer perspective it would be better too- there will be no segregation between handheld and console market, so we will have many more games to choose from since the devs will all be producing for the one system.
is this the announcement from nintendo that people were talking about yesterday?
PEOPLE NEED TO PETITION
maybe they cant afford to produce the game in its entirety in one development cycle.
maybe when we purchase the first episode, we will essentially be funding the others.
what if the first one flops? will theY cancel the other episodes?
i knew it was too good to be true. the games industry is FUBAR
''Each Part Will Provide a "Unique Experience"
sounds disastrous. why not just give us the full final fantasy 7 experience.. you know, the rpg one.. or are we going to get-
an rpg episode
hack n slash episode
fps episode
quick time event episode
side scrolling platform episode
shoot em up episode
garbage
the way the games industry treats gamers is disgraceful
i really want a wiiu price drop
its good news that there will be future xenoblade games
its fine.
nintendo's answer to microsoft fans asking for goldeneye 007 on X1 will be an emphatic ''NO!''
