@Hydralysk You say that nothing important happened in Mass Effect 2? What about the amazing character depth that the game offered? I can say that Mass Effect 2 has some of the best character development in a game. Garrus, Mordin, Thane, and the others all felt like real friends and I applaud Bioware for that.
Half Life 3 confirmed.
Is this even a debate? Destiny hands down.
I'm not in favor of "pro-" anything. This site is "pro-Sony" at the moment and you are complaining that it might go pro-MS again. It'd be a much better environment if everyone supported each console respectively.
But it's fine if it's pro-Sony?
I can say without a doubt that the Uncharted series are the funniest games I have ever played. Borderlands being a close second.
Agent and The Last Guardian are releasing the same day on the Virtual Boy 2.
Does no one remember Red Dead Revolver?
Then what competition would Sony have? Nintendo isn't doing anywhere near as well as MS and Sony are at the moment. If Sony had no competition they could do whatever they damn please and you would have no alternative if you didn't like what it offered (That's why I'm switching to PS4 from Xbox).
The only way the original Xbox One plan would have worked is if it was a direct knock off of Steam. No one cares if you are "37 and loaded". That makes you sound like an arrogant douchebag. Not everyone has the luxury to buy new games, a decent internet connection, and pay the $500 for a console. It's anti-consumer and frankly they're easily the best form of PS4 marketing right now. DRM being good as of now? Get real.
So after everyone complains about the atrocious restrictions on the X1, people want them to go back to the original plan? God I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
That's what it was. Thanks for finding that.
I remember reading the Activision-Bungie contract and I swore I read somewhere that Destiny had to sell at least 7 million copies. If that's the case Activision may have upped the number since the astounding hype around Destiny right now. But it is hard to imagine a brand new IP hitting that kind of feat.
I believe Rare still has talent it's just they are withheld from doing much to prove it under Microsoft's conditions. You say the people who made the first few Halo's are no longer there? Not many people left Bungie for 343. In fact the majority of the team who worked on Halo is currently working with Destiny. I still believe Rare has potential it's just Microsoft hasn't done anything that allows them to show it.
I think the smaller indie developers get the horror feel better than AAA developers because it's simplistic. Since Slender came out there have been a lot of these indie horror games and it's great PS4 is supporting indies because they'll get a lot of great horror games like Daylight and Outlast.
Naughty Dog is definitely one of the best developers of all time. They've come along way since Crash Bandicoot.
I remember being excited for this game back when it was first announced. It sucks when a game that has some potential gets put down because people believe that a game like Six Days In Fallujah would end up being a "Killing Simulator". Yet CoD can get away with a mission completely pointless to the plot that requires you to mow down a bunch of Russian civilians.
I don't understand why Microsoft didn't just have Rare make Killer Instinct. Oh wait I forgot we need a new iteration of KINECT SPORTS! Yeah, no.
Call of Duty is a hemorrhoid on the gaming industry. I really hope BF4 puts the "Dog" down.
And another, and another, AND another.
