I love the new direction that Xbox is going into. Reminds me a lot of the OG Xbox days where there was so many exclusives spanning different genres. The 360 relied on a few exclusives and third-party support to push the platform but since PS4 is leading the charge right now it only makes sense for Xbox to go all out. Great time to be a gamer on all fronts.
It's crazy how fast 10 years goes by. I still remember playing Halo 2 at launch and had some of the best times as a gamer ever. Halo MCC is not just great value, it's an amazing fan service. If anyone wants to play my gamertag is Paytaa. Can't wait! :D

Bungie, Naughty Dog, Valve, Epic, Sony Santa Monica, etc. are not all the same studio that they were since they were founded. People leave and new faces are hired but that does not indicate a loss of quality all the time. I think one of the coolest things about Naughty Dog is that they matured with their fans. Everyone who started on Playstation played Crash which was targeted at younger kids, Jak and Daxter was targeted at young teens, Uncharted was for teenagers, and TLOU was for adults. I love my PS4 don't get me wrong and I don't really have a problem not having the update it's just they've been talking about it for so long now that you'd think they would have a specific release date. It just sucks when Xbox is getting a ton of new additions each month (I have one but only for exclusives) and I wish Sony kept up that's all.
I swear they've been talking about Firmware 2.0 since like June. Why does it take so long for them to implement this? We get an article every day on it yet no release date.
Funny, the 360 and PS3 had WAY more people connected to either PSN or LIVE and these outages didn't happen and the worst part of all, PS3 was more stable and it was free! I shouldn't be getting less of a service when I'm actually paying. For all the years I gamed on LIVE, I never encountered hiccups in the network quite like this. It's actually embarrassing on Sony's part. Got kicked off TLOU MP earlier.
Sales do not dictate a victor in a console war. I mean yeah the Wii sales-wise won last gen but I think the real victor was the 360 due to mass appeal, the market share they stole from Sony and it was the console to own for superior multi-plats.
Believe me, my friends and I who all had the original Xbox were bashed because we didn't have a PS2.
