Agreed. Titanfall may not have the longevity of most FPS's but it definitely is really fun in my opinion and I love the gameplay. Definitely going to support any future installments.
If they didn't even re-do the graphics and engine and left Gears 1-3 as is I'd be totally content. All they would need to do is dedicated servers across all games and 60fps and I'd be set for a while. Gears of War is my 2nd favorite arena multiplayer game after Halo so it'd be a treat to go down memory lane again :)
Please be Smoke or Kung Lao.
Mass Effect is probably the only series where I cared about 90% of the characters. Every character was well written and fleshed out in-game which was great. I'd be lying if I said I didn't shed manly tears when Garrus said his final goodbyes to Shepard in Mass Effect 3. I was so engrossed in Mass Effect and no other game has given me that same feeling. I really hope the next Mass Effect is just as good as the first 3.
I don't know why you're getting disagrees when you are going by what others have said. I guess being optimistic and genuinely excited for your console of choice is wrong. I know PS4 is going to have a stellar year along with Wii U but that doesn't mean Xbox won't. If people on here believe that Microsoft won't announce anything else other than what has been confirmed for 2015 already then that's just pure ignorance.
I haven't had any issues at all with matchmaking for the past week and a half or so. The most I've encountered is the host migration failing before a game starts but even then I find another match in seconds. But since there have been 9000 articles about how the multiplayer is broken, people will still claim so months after it's fixed.
Campaign-wise they are breathing new life into Halo and are delving into parts of the lore Bungie never even attempted, notably the Forerunners. Multiplayer-wise is a bit mixed since Halo 4 wasn't really "Halo" in a sense but from what I've seen from Halo 5 I'm definitely on board. Also 343 wasn't the sole developer for Halo TMCC. Certain Affinity was tasked with the multiplayer components, Ruffian Games did the Halo 3 and 4 ports, and Saber Interactive did the Halo ...
@bangoskank Uh no? I am more interested in playing DMC 4 rather than DmC. It just happens to be that everyone would prefer the continuation of the original series and my money is going to support the majority.
I've never played a DMC game before but I plan on picking up DMC4 to help push for DMC5 since that's what everyone wants.
Between Halo 5, Rise of The Tomb Raider, Quantum Break, Crackdown 3, Phantom Dust, Scalebound, and the inevitable Gears Collection my wallet will be irrelevant. I hope Microsoft announces more games and content in general before the journey to E3. 2015 is going to be the best year in gaming since probably 2007 for all regardless if you're solely Xbox, Playstation, or Nintendo.
While it did suck at first when matchmaking was barely playable, I kind of expected it. I mean having 5 different games/engines all running in the same hopper definitely isn't an easy task. With that said, I'm optimistic that 343 will iron out nearly every bug and exploit in Halo 5 before launch due to the backlash to TMCC. You have to remember that Halo 4 had a smooth launch so it's not like they're prone to doing this all the time.
@All_Consoles You are right but still it sucks that we won't see a proper Bioshock game for a while if ever. Bioshock 1 is still a masterpiece and one of my favorite games ever made.
Sad thing is, you are in the vast minority with that mindset. I've never cared which console sells the most or which company makes what. It all boils down to having fun and what you prefer.
It's a shame that Irrational went defunct :/
I really hope Ken Levine and the Irrational crew start up again and manage to make System Shock 3. The world needs more games like System Shock.
I've been an Xbox guy since 2001 and to be honest, the Xbox One is shaping into being the best Xbox yet. It literally does everything for me whether its gaming, movies, Youtube, Twitch, recording gameplay, you name it. I know it's not selling as much as PS4 or is as powerful but that hasn't once deterred me from having fun. I can't wait until 2015 where Xbox One will shine more so than this year. Great times ahead on all fronts!
I just think that for a game that's been in development for over 5 years by a studio with the pedigree of Bungie it should have been way more than what we got. From the moment Destiny was announced I was hooked. Between the concept art and the art style, it was definitely my cup of tea. I didn't expect it to become such a shallow game that is based on grinding in a Borderlands-esque world. I know many people like it but for someone who has been such an avid Bungie supporter for over 1...
1. Sonic Adventure 1 & 2
2. Hydro Thunder
3. House of The Dead
4. Crazy Taxi
5. Jet Grind Radio
All of these games were so fun to play growing up. The Dreamcast is arguably the best console ever made in my opinion. I really miss Sega :/. The golden years are over and it's sad knowing the state of gaming in the 90's vs the state of it now. You can have the most powerful hardware but you'll never recreate the magic and the sense ...
I disagree with this post completely. It puzzles me how Bungie lost the magic going from Halo to Destiny. Even their games Marathon and Myth had very interesting lore but that is almost non-existent in Destiny. I had such high hopes for Destiny being a a crazy Halo fan but it's one of the biggest disappointments for me. I refuse to further invest in this franchise and will support devs who don't have shady business practices.
