Halo 3's community is what made it such a mesmerizing experience.
A lot of the talent was dispersed to other studios. Basically all of the lead multiplayer devs that worked on Halo 2 and 3 went to Certain Affinity and others followed suit and went to 343. Bungie is a shell of what they used to be, even pre-Halo days they were still a highly commended team. It speaks volumes when they create one of the most in depth universes with Halo and then go on to create a bland and shallow universe with Destiny. In my opinion Microsoft should acquire Certain Affinity and either have them work on other Halo games or merge them with 343 because CA is literally filled with Bungie vets from the Halo 2-3 days notably Max Hobberman.
If you honestly thought that if Bungie continued to make Halo that they would always keep Halo 2-3's gameplay then you are mistaken.
There has been numerous articles based on that same tweet. I refuse to get my hopes up since I do that too much anytime Fallout 4 anything gets rumored/speculated. If anything I'll be shocked if it gets shown at VGA 2014.

I've been playing Halo for 13 years and competitively for around 8. With that said, Halo 5 seems to be going in the right direction. Halo in 2015 should not be Halo from 2004-2007. I was blown away by the reveal, they balanced like every issue that was factored in Halo 4. Watching the pro match gameplay on Truth felt like I was watching an MLG event from years ago and it was great. Remember that it was Bungie who started this trend in Halo with everything they added in Reach. 343 expanded on that in Halo 4. Good thing Halo 5 has a beta almost a year before launch that way they can implement feedback way ahead of schedule.

The one thing I always loved about Killzone was it's art syle. I love how it's gritty and gloomy like a real war should be. I remember seeing trailers for Killzone 2 years ago and I thought it looked awesome. Not a huge fan of the gameplay but the lore and the art direction is where this game shines for me personally.
You and me both! This is the best fan-service ever and Halo has been my favorite franchise since Halo CE. Tuesday cannot come any quicker, the wait is unbearable!

One can only hope. I miss the "edginess" from the OG Xbox. I think gaming as a whole would be in such a better state if it were to go back to the OG Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube days.
All this means as that they will give the Halo 5 launch extra attention since that's a bigger release. The messy launch allowed me to focus on the campaigns which are a trip down memory lane in itself and the dozen or so matches I've played between Halo 1,2, and 3 have been nothing short of amazing. Love that 343 is very community-centric, it only benefits everyone in the end.
