Like I needed to be reminded again hahaha. This game is simply amazing and that's a fact.
I don't see by adding a new character makes it copy Mortal Kombat. Plus the X1 hasn't even come out yet so who's to say they won't make another Perfect Dark or Conker? There's still many years until next-gen ends my friend.
I really wish I could have been a part of the enjoyment that came the PS1 and PS2 but I was always on the other side of the fence with the Dreamcast and later the original Xbox. I have great memories on both but I always stuck by Sega and Microsoft but now I'm supporting both Sony and MS this gen. Every gamer should be happy about next-gen regardless of what side you're on. It's going to be great.
I loved Spec Ops: The Line. At first glance it seems nothing more than your average third-person shooter but man was it much more than that. I felt really weird once the credits started rolling. Can't wait for Yager's next project.
Same happened with me, I was really digging the game and then randomly never played it again. Definitely have to beat it before The Witcher 3 comes out.
@crazyeightz If sales were any good indication on game quality then I guess that The Last of Us is really bad compared to Modern Warfare 3.
@abzdine Lost Planet, Dead Rising, and Bioshock were timed exclusives for the 360. Microsoft did not publish any of them. With Mass Effect, it was a first-party exclusive but EA bought Bioware which brought Mass Effect multi-platform. Dead Rising 3 is funded and published by Microsoft.
@xhi4 If you actually think Sony "loves and cares about us gamers" you are mistaken. Both Sony and Microsoft just want your money, money, and more money. They're a business, Sony's "We are for the gamers" marketing is just that, marketing and everyone's buying it. I love what they have to offer and they are doing really well with marketing as well. Microsoft just needs to learn to market better.
@DayZ The original Xbox sold more than the Gamecube and at the rate at which the PS3 and 360 are going they will surpass Wii in sales which will put 360 in second again most likely. Plus 360 and PS3 are almost dead even in console sales.
@ElementX You sir are one of the few that actually have a brain on this site.
@Zeal0us I don't know man. I remember being pretty excited when the announced that at the VGA's of 2011 I believe. Looked ambitious and something new for Epic but they haven't said a word about it since the VGA's.
Was hoping for a German Shepherd.
So what happened when the PS3 was $600? Oh since it was Playstation it was okay. You know you can coexist among other gamers right?
Not their first time developing for Sony. They released a console exclusive to the PS2 called Oni. They co-developed with Rockstar on it.
Sshh I think it's trying to communicate.
Look! It's a billboard!
YES!! Team Deathmatch and Search and Destroy! Oh wait this isn't 2007. Damn.
Yeah I don't understand why not many devs implemented a clan system in their games. I remember Halo 2's clan system being really neat back in the day but they never did it after that.
I believe that your preference is opinionated but when it comes down to the game as a whole, The Last Of Us is an amazing game inside and out. Naughty Dog really out did themselves.
