I love gmaes
Honestly I feel like this game masters all of Halo's strong points from the previous iterations. It brings back the map control/power weapon control from Halo 1-3 along with the equal starts and a very strong competitive aspect. It takes the pure aggressiveness from Halo 4 which I'm on board with and takes the old Armor Abilities and makes it work across the board for all players. Plus the new take on sprinting is something I was very intrigued with since it doesn't let people run...
In my opinion CoD 2, CoD 4, and MW2 nailed down map design for a Call of Duty. Maps like Toujane, Railyard, Crossfire, Countdown, Backlot, Ambush, Favela, Invasion, Highrise, Terminal and Scrapyard were some of my favorites back in the day and were very well designed. I really miss when CoD 4 and MW2 were still in their prime, so many fun times.
I swear since hands-on experience with Halo 5's beta has been praised that these articles are going to pop up downplaying the game when the OP and numerous people commenting haven't touched Halo 5 or even Halo for that matter. If you want a series like Halo to stay relevant it needs to evolve and so far the evolution 343 has brought to the series has been great and I believe Halo 5 is going to special and years down the line people will look back at it in a positive light. I just know...
Titanfall for me.
I wonder if it was a "high poly count scanned German Shepherd" that was a character you care about.
Right I forgot a corporation making money results in my plastic box being better than another. This type of mentality is what plagues gaming. Pretty sure the majority of Wii U owners enjoy their console and that's all that matters. PS4 may be selling the most but I'm enjoying my Xbox One more. It all comes down to personal preference and a lot of the times what your friends own.
Can't wait to get my hands on this! True competitive Halo is back but evolved. Haven't seen this competitive vibe since pre-Reach days. Someone else said it perfectly, it's like Halo 2's soul but in a different body.
Is "X is going to dominate 2015" going to be an everyday article now?
The sad thing is you're right. When the 360 and PS3 first came out the hardware was top of the line and could compete with PC for the time being spec-wise. Right out of the gate Xbox One and PS4 were underpowered from a standpoint in 2013 since you could find similar hardware in a tablet.
I'm so jealous. I got invited to the preview program too late so I can't get early access. The wait until the 29th is going to be rough and then a whole YEAR for the final build! I haven't been this hyped for any game in years.
Buy whatever interests you more. Xbox One and PS4 both alone offer a lot for any type of gamer so either way you will be satisfied. Hell don't leave out Wii U either, I don't have one but it's sure looking attractive right now.
For me Titanfall was an easy pick for best shooter of 2014. Haven't played a more fluid FPS ever. The controls are spot on and makes the pre-existing CoD formula much more dynamic and fast.
Everybody who participates listen to this man. Make sure you give constructive criticism to 343 instead of just blatantly saying it sucks or its awesome.
Calm down, it's just a beta trailer. I can almost guarantee that before launch of the full game they will do some sort of live action/CGI trailer that is serious in tone and will aim for the feels.
343 literally branded their own style of arena gameplay. I'm beyond stoked for this and I will lose countless hours in the beta. Oh man the hype is real.
I use Rdio which is similar to Spotify so I hope they include a way to let that run in the background without snapping it through the IE browser so I can listen to music while I play.
That's odd, I was playing Titanfall on the daily less than a month ago and I found matches in no time.
This is easily the worst article I've read all day
Many developers can learn a thing or two from Naughty Dog. They certainly set the bar when it comes to story telling, graphics, and overall great cinematic gameplay. When I first saw the E3 2012 gameplay of The Last of Us my jaw was on the floor covered in drool. They single-handedly made me buy a PS3 and Uncharted & TLOU ended up being some of my favorite games of all time.
