The author's reason as of why the 360 will suck is because they will focus on Natal too much. I wonder if he knows that the 360 has two press conferences scheduled-- one explicitly intended for Natal.

I too hated the ending. it just didn't make sense. As they developed the whole childhood of the killer thing near the end, it was working well, but then it seemed like they just copied and pasted "the killer" into the role, which didn't seem to fit his/her character at all, plus the huuuge plot hole. The therapist was a perfect fit, but it seemed like they rushed the game and didn't have time to make everything work.
Epic got paid for Gears exclusivity for a trilogy. They can't break the contract, and Pachter himself said that they probably regret it.
I do however think that he's overlooking some key things, for example, there are ps3 3rd party exclusives that don't leave japan.

Just want to make sure everyone knows, this is not an original game. Its the 4th installment in the Another Century Episode series, which is based on the Super Robot Wars series. They basically take a lot of Namco Bandai's robot licenses and a few others and make a game about robots fighting eachother. Look up either series on wiki if you want.
I can't think of any member of the series to leave Japan, so try not to get your hopes up.

Ninja theory's expectations were too high, based on the actual content released. Period. You're not going to sell millions of copies on a game that most people would prefer to rent.

Didn't we learn anything from E3 2008? Square won't be making its big games exclusives anymore because from a financial standpoint it makes no sense. None of the games Microsoft bought were really big games, besides Star Ocean, which ended on the ps3 anyway. They're considering porting FF14 to the 360, and the only reason Versus is staying exclusive is likely because of a contract with Sony that they won't be able to break.
Unless someone wrote a 100 million doll...
Baldurs Gate is done. Throne of Bhaal essentially was Baldurs Gate 3--The developers have explicitly stated the game is one of three parts, BG1, BG2 and TOB. TOB's ending is about as conclusive as you can get, any sequel after it would be like Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance, meaning completely unrelated to the plot of the original, so what's the point? Icewind Dale/Neverwinter Nights/Dragon Age all serve as fine spiritual successors.
Epic made a deal with Microsoft so the first three gears games would be exclusive to the xbox 360. This article mentions it, and even Michael Pachter was talking about it a few days ago.
