" Stop Whining Over The Mass Effect 3 Ending"
Stop publishing your worthless web page tripe.
It's not about exercising a right. It's about honest feedback. This a Kotor 2 level poor, vague, modular, unfinished feeling ending. The people who made it might want to know how disappointed some customers were by this ending. That's all it is.
People complained about the ending to Fallout 3, and LO they got a better ending that lead into a DLC because Bethesda cared.
Some people are suspicious that Bioware planned all along to give them a poor ...
In a game about making choices that have real consequences not having much of a real choice in endings is a kind of d efect and failure.
Spam sucks. Use Tiny-url next time.
An announcement of an announcement. Yay.
Nothing to see here. More non-news, waste of time, 'opinion piece about nothing' type crap.
ZUNED
WAAAAAH! I don't want more content! Bioware is always right and their customers are always wrong. "Entitlement" WAAAHH.
Yeah, unless the price of new games come way down to say $40 it's not worth it. And people off the net can't participate. And storage is cheap but it's not that cheap. Not even online storage.
And as for an alternate physical medium, solid state still isn't cheap enough to beat optical disc mediums even if they are a little faster and small.
So there are a lot of problems to solve.
Boring, lame and a bunch of crap. Thanks.
I didn't buy the DLC. I didn't buy the game. Bioware and EA are not entitled to my business. From what I've seen they don't want it.
Now a lot of people who paid their money hate the ending. That is feedback. You can handle that well or poorly and be rewarded or punished for your response accordingly. Being cavalier or trying to make customers feel like criminals for asking for more is usually a bone headed move but EA and Bioware have made a lot of those late...
Developers need to attract customers with good value in their products not try to train them to accept less.
Games need to get around $40 on the shelf with at least $20 of non critical but substantial DLC to back them up. That's the sweet spot. Meanwhile I can get a semi-decent 6 hour long gears of war clone that looks like a really nice PS2 game on my tablet/phone for $5-$7 OR LESS.
HHG got banned because he was cheesy, he tried to stir up the fanboys too much, and most of the time he was wasting everyone's time with hyped up bunk. Also his crap just got old.
Art when used to describe content (as opposed an art which is to a skilled methodology for producing something) is short for artifact.
If humans or a human made it on purpose or intentionally caused it to be made, then it is art. It just means something that is not naturally occurring.
I thought it was kind of a Matrix 3 sort of ending. Inadequate and confusing but nominally closing things out...sort of.
It's always sad when someone who doesn't understand what the word fun actually means decides to try and look smart by making an idiotic article about how something doesn't have to be fun to be entertaining.
Hint: There are different kinds of fun. Not all of them are whimsical but all are engaging and entertaining. Even being disturbed can be fun as sick humor and horror movies illustrate. A game that is not fun is boring, flawed, bland,or tiresome to the point th...
The server thing is bullcrap. The guy selling the game gives up his server slot. The guy buying it used does not require an additional server slot. Since you need the physical game to play, you only need as many server slots as you have copies of the game. Trading, lending, selling, don't increase the need for server slots because whoever gives up physical possession of the game can't play any more. The maximum number of required server slots is FIXED. It does not grow and thus used g...
Meh. I think QD pretty much peaked with Fahrenheit and even the last fourth of that was pretty off.
Personally I'd much rather play Torchlight 2, if it ever comes out.
