Torchlight 2 will be out soon. And I hear you can play it by yourself offline. The studio making it hired the same guy who did the music for Diablo and Diablo II. So I'm placing my $20 bet on Torchlight 2.

Dead Island is HUGELY influenced by the Borderlands design. sure it focuses more on melee at first and it is set on a zombie infested vacation island but it's pretty damned similar in most of the mechanics, skill tress, loot, mission structure, characters with their "thing" that they do, modifiable action skills, etc.
It might not be the original direction but what if they new game is still fun to play? I heard the same kind of crap about Resident Evil 5 and DeadSpace 2. I enjoyed both of them. If it's more action that horror, so what? Aliens was more action than horror compared to the Alien. Still a pretty good movie!
Meh. Move was a waste of money and I'm sorry I bought it. Kinnect sucks too but luckily I did not buy that.

I didn't like the looks of this from the get go. Another effeminate lead with lots of zippers and a magic sword? Zaibatsu/Yakuza in a big rainy city? A #@#$ing Hamlet theme? Bleah. No thanks. Then it just sat there with nothing happening for about two years now.

PS3 was a bore. I'm sorry I bought it. Mine is in the closet in a backpack to keep the dust off of it. PS2 was great. PS3 was only loved by sad idiots who thought bringing back Twisted Metal would be a good idea.
