Just to be clear to those who haven't read the Halo books, the Prometheans were the soldier caste of the Forerunner civilization who fought and beat the original version of the Human Race after they somehow managed o beat back the Flood.
CoD made MGS irrelevant a long time ago. Thats why they make one CoD a year and sell 10-20 million of them. That doesn't make MGS a bad game but it is over rated and not really the big draw that it was in 2008.

I have a 360, a PS3, and a Wii and I have no interest in Sony All stars Battle Royale much less some Microsoft equivalent. Hell I sold my copy of Super Smash Bro.s Brawl in a Gamestop deal to get God of War 4. And I only paid $15 for Brawl at a sale at Game Crazy before they went broke so it hardly counts.
The Sony game already looks just awful and a Microsoft equivalent would be silly and not in a good way. Sony is already scraping the bottom of the barrel and their roster ...

It's because most of the PS3 exclusives aren't that good, desirable, impressive, or popular and so they sell mediocre numbers and just don't effect the console sales much. A few annoyingly bitter PS3 fans making too much noise about them doesn't fool anybody into suddenly caring about these games. So they sell three million or less and then turn into cheap pack-ins.
I prefer good word of mouth to a 'press" review.
The press seems to be rather famous for swallowing horses( "The game crashed every fifteen minutes but its so amazing that we didn't mind- 8.7") and gagging on gnats (" The game is attractive and technically competent but unfortunately it ads nothing new to the FPS genre and plays it too safe to please a jaded long time gamer- 6.5 " )
