More badly cherry picked screenshots from a german blog site through goggle translate. Bleagh.
More dumb whining that everyone does not kowtow to the same values where entertainment is concerned and worries that entertainment is dangerous if not carefully formulated by self appointed experts.
Screw that.
Back in the day, I accidently broke Lara Crofts neck and drowned her enough times that I don't really think of her doing that weird flip up onto a ledge move. I think of her accidently dying because I made a mistake. Or getting chewed up by a wolf because I didn't see it and couldn't turn around fast enough. To me she was always a ghoulish character in the first game. No doubt that's why Eidos preferred to have her blow stuff up in boats and on motorcycles in action scenes rat...

"Guys – and today, unfortunately, I am speaking to the fellas – we really need to talk.
The misogyny and the sexism that’s been slowly seeping into video games and the broader gaming lexicon – the degrading E3 advertising and the constant threats of rape on gaming message boards and on Xbox Live – it has to stop."
What if it doesn't stop? Your "...

Still, nobody else cares about Killzone. Get over it.
PS3 was a bore and disappointment. I'm sorry I ever bought one. With two exceptions the exclusives were worse than the good third party games.
I won't be buying a PS4 for at least two years because they'll need to prove that it's not going to be just another PS3. I don't trust the Sony brand anymore. The PS2 was the peak for Sony. The PS3 has been a long boring downward spiral.
@Parasyte
Rage looked and played better than Killzone 3 in some ways and it played on the 360 and the PS3. Thus the hate. It spoiled the silly marketing illusion that cell was a magically powerful piece of hardware that gave Sony an insurmountable graphics edge. So did Crysis 2 for that matter.
The people bitching about Rage never bought it, rented it, borrowed it, or even played it.
Instead, they watched a single texture pop-in video on yout...
What happened was that E3 lost E3. It was a sucky year and a poor show.

I liked SR3 but SR2 did feel like it had more stuff in it even if it wasn't crazier stuff. On the other hand SR2 had that whole "the player is a crazy sick individual who hates everyone and will kill anyone even his friends if they get in the way" vibe going where in SR3 he's mellowed out a lot. In Saint's Row and SR2 part of the fun is that the people of Stillwater probably aren't as bad as your sicko character sees them. You are literally experiencing his psychosis...
The big thee all sucked for the most part. Sony didn't nail anything. They did better than MS and Nintendo but they never managed to make a good conference. Even the third party stuff was only adequate this year. This E3 was one of the worst ever all around.
They spent 20 minutes on that thing dude. It was a travesty.
Calm down people. Put the fanboy claws away. There's nothing to win anymore. This generation is winding down. It probably has a year and half left with very few surprises. Settle down.
I'm not sure, but they bought Eidos. If Eidos owns the Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver (it's likely as publisher's often do own the IP's they publish) stuff then yes.
"No. Homefront was all THQ had. It takes time and money to make a game. They just took with what they had and are hoping for the best with Homefront 2."
Yeah, except for Saints Row, the GW 40K license, UFC, WWF, Darksiders, Red Faction(dead but not forgotten), Company of Heroes, Metro 20XX...
Sony has plenty of cows to milk, and virtually nothing to show for it. Except several sequels that few gamers care about.
The only real theory here is it's funny when cult favorite Japanese studios do it because they get the benefit of the doubt. It's not funny when anyone else does it. Shadows of the Damned dick jokes are good yet Bulletstorm dick jokes are TERRIBLE and EMBARRASSING. Why? Because "Yay! Japan is wacky!"
So, when all the self righteous #@#$ talking is done, is Ad free, no subscription, no fee multiplayer service creating any huge sales or market advantage for the other consoles?
Meh. Screw Japan. The good games come to us anyway now.
