You should be able to put the HD mount in virtually any orientation on the chassis. Because the wires between connectors can bend. It could fit in a recess in one of the broad sides of the unit almost flush with the surface or even under a hinged lid.
Who's charging $400 for a 120 GB 360 HDD? I got mine for $85. That's not a great price but it's a hell of a lot less than $400.
I think Valve just doesn't care about the PS3.
They are mainly focused on taking over the downloadable end of the PC market with Steam.
360 ports from PC development are easier to do than PS3 ports so as a byproduct of PC oriented development 360 benefits and PS3 doesn't unless someone else wants to do a point like EA did.
Hiring some system programmers just to port stuff to the PS3 just isn't worth doing from Valve's point of view.

Lol. Drago, you should go back and actually look at some PS2 launch games before you say ridiculous stuff like that. Seriously go look at Orphan or EverGrace or Gungriffon Blaze or Amored Core 2 or Tales of Phantasia and tell me that they 'look like' Crackdown 1 much less Crackdown 2. Hell look at Starwars Starfighter or SSX.
As for PSX....PSX didn't even output games in 480i which is why all the games on it look so irritatingly pixelated and blocky by modern standards.

I ask because Ninja Theory is going multi-platform with 'Enslaved' (the dark future post apocalypse robot fighting thing with the hacker and the warrior named Monkey).
Epic is mainly known for licensing their middleware engines to devs and publishers right now. I assume that's where the larger part of their revenue comes from. So if MS does not plan to get into the middleware business it seems like a dumb or at least destructive idea to purchase a middlware producer and turn it into a dev studio working on exclusive games.
MS could afford it but that doesn't make it good business.

I got a PS Eye in a cheap Eye of Judgment bundle to make textures for Little Big Planet. It turns out it really sucks at that. So if Move turns out to suck I'll have no use for the thing beyond maybe doing taunt faces in Burnout:Paradise. And I'm kind of tired of that. I doubt I'll see anything that makes me want to buy Natal either.

The Best Buy in Austin TX at I-35 and 51st street(in the Mueller shopping center next to the Deall/Setan children's hostpital and home Depot) today had three PS3 slims in the aisle and six more up on a shelf over the Wii Aisle (which is on a wall). So if you are in Austin, TX and desperately seeking a PS3 slim in this "shortage" well there ya go. They might well have more in back if you ask.
