Fox didn't even care about the side boob. Fox didn't know what was in the game or what it was about. What happened was, a conservative blogger who was unfortunately also a liar and a lunatic posted a ridiculous editorial on a website called Town Hall.com. Some writer at Fox News ran with that as a quick "controversial sounding" topic on a coffee-clatch type show and NO ONE speaking about it had played the game to confirm or discredit the editorial (Except Geoff Keighly who w...
Acquisition might sound a little better than acquirement.
Meh. Not really funny. I would love a new Xwing Vs. Tie Fighter game though.
Graphic wise I see a big difference. Prove ME wrong.
AAA games are games with big budgets that are heavily marketed. It IS a AAA game. Sometimes AAA games flop though. So far this one is getting positive reviews that are not top of the line but still pretty good. I have no idea how it's selling. We'll see how it does over MAY and that will tell us whether it's a AAA disappointment or a AAA hit or somewhere in between.
It's more of an atmospheric third person shooter that seems to have modeled itself mainly on Resident Evil 5 in terms of gameplay mechanics.
"Beam me up, Chewie!" sounds better to me.
If that Silver Back mech really isn't in your game, then go hop on a plane, hire the guy who drew it, and PUT IT IN YOUR GAME PRONTO. 'Kay? THX
So they want to aggressively push Silverlight NOW? Sigh. Kind of late.
Free Radical pretty much sucked though. Even Second Sight and the Timesplitters games were merely "okay".
Then they went broke turning out Haze (which was just AWFUL, worse than the Turok Dinosaur game even) and got bought by Crytek and given another chance.
Frankly I loved Viva Pinata, and Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. I liked Kameo. To go back a bit I liked Grabbed by the Ghoulies. Perfect Dark Zero had some problems but I didn't think it sucked. The ri...
Natal = 2x PS3
Ms DID own Bungie until 2007. So uh...Fail.
I have a PS3 and a 360(and a WII!) and none of those things you mentioned (One isn't even out yet!)are "far beyond" anything on the 360. Better? Yes! Far beyond? Lol! Not so much dude. You guys try to take things too damned far sometimes.
And what if the PS3 version was canceled at the last minute due to a perceived lack of interest? Or what if due to technical problems with the port it came out a year later and no one cared about the PS3 version anymore? Lol!
Seriously dude, what the hell was the point of that speculation crap supposed to be?
MS did buy Bungie in 1999 or so.
Bungie wanted out in 2007 so they took their money and made MS an offer involving MS keeping the Halo IP and making several exclusive titles for MS. They also bought out most of MS's stock in Bungie with cash money paid to them BY MS as incentives for making such a successful game series.
So now Bungie are independent again.
MS had to let Bungie go or a lot of people would have quit and formed a new studio funded by thos...
Read the #@#$ing article man.
MS owns the Halo IP no matter how shrewd you want to think Bungie is. It was one of the conditions for Bungie's independence. It was part of the price that Bungie payed to buy themselves back as a pricately held compnay.
MS have a studio staffed with former Bungie team members who worked on Halo games called 343 Studios who will handle(supervise) the production of future Halo titles and associated products. Frank O'Conner is with them....
Nope. Bungie don't own the Halo IP anymore.
I'd love cross platform multiplayer but somehow I doubt MS will allow it. Sigh. Remember what they did with Unreal Tournament 3?
Sounds to me like YOU want to do all the crying that the 360 fanboys supposedly want to do. It's okay. Stir the pot if you want. You might catch one or two fish.
But we already KNEW that Bungie was independpent since summer 2007(before ODST was announced). We also know that MS owns the Halo IP, Halo is still exclusive to MS platforms, and that MS has 343 Studios to guide further development. We know that the new IP is multi-platform so 360 gamers can still play it on 360 if they ...
AAA has nothing to do with scores or critical reception. An AAA title is a big expensive game intended to sell a lot (whether it actually does or not).
Some AAA titles suck or even flop but the huge expenditure of developer and advertising resources STILL makes it a AAA product.
Sometimes a budget title is a huge hit that gets great scores from critics but it's not a AAA title because it had a miniscule budget and modest market expectations before it laun...
