XNA is a specialized text editor, a compiler, and interpreter and some code libraries aimed at making PC and 360 games.
It's sort of like a software development environment package.
If you want to know what it's "like" then download Bloodshed DevC++. It's a lot like that.
Scrapmetal is way more like an RC derby game then Twisted Metal.
Not many third party publishers are interested in doing exclusives these days. The
I don't know. I don't care. Maybe you can count them if you care. Maybe not. Whatevs.
Well one of those developers already went under (Grin).
They have outsourced a lot of stuff too. Dark Void and Dead Rising 2 were nopt done by internal studios.
Duke's boot is back! Sort of.
It's not even spam. It's wanna-be spam. It's more like Treet by Armour foods. It WISHES it were spam.
Ah. Stupid nerds slap fighting with OTHER stupid nerds via webcam clips is now considered news on N4G. Glorious. I guess some of the nerds calling themselves (and their nondescript hobby blog) "Icrontic" is supposed to represent some sort of credibility advantage in this silly cluster$#@&?
Let us all bask together in the radiance and dignity of this sublime moment in games journalism.
Apparently I had 'perpetual downloads' checked so they refunded my card for that.
Uh...Congress?
I think a lot of the direct People Can Fly press involvement got stymied by the Iceland Volcano eruption that grounded a lot of transAtlantic flights.
The ending of Halo 2 was Master Chief heading to Earth hidden in a covenant fleet...that was coming to finish off the human race and all life in the galaxy by triggering the Halos. How does that "ending" satisfy you? It's a cliff hanger.
Sarcasm right? Please be sarcasm.
I really liked the first Painkiller so I'm kind of excited about this game.
I hope it doesn't end up the way that Dark Void or Bionic Commando did.
Epic usually has pretty good taste though they DID let Digital Extremes release some kind of questionable stuff like Unreal 2 and Pariah. Still, I really liked what Chair did with Shadow Complex, so maybe Epic are better at picking out partners these days.
Uh huh. One game? Please. That doesn't tell you much of anything about anything. PS3 has sub HD games as well.
So yes, I think it's a minor difference between the HD consoles.
Are you talking about "9" a CGI movie by Shane Acker released in 2005 that is that ALSO has a little guy made of burlap with a zipper running around huge everyday objects?
It had a full length feature film version made that released in 2009 under the Universal Pictures label.
Classically "overpriced" means you can't convince customers (in the market you are targeting) to pay the price you want for your product. If no one sees the price as a good value (even if that value is intangible like a status symbol or a toy/gadget) then the product is overpriced for its intended market.
Also, some of the Move demos and footage of the games in the Kevin Butler commercial seem imply that some apps will require TWO move controllers. That's a lot of stuff to get together for a casual friendly control interface.
Camera + 2 Move controllers + Navigator + enabled software.
I already have the camera since I bought Eye of Judgement for $30 at Walmart when they were dumping them.
I dunno.
Stuff like the iPad sh...
I wonder if Bungie will license a middleware engine that has a proven track record on both consoles AND the PC.
I can't say anything on either HD console has really blown my mind yet. I think people just tend to want to try and pretend that minor differences are evidence of some HUGE INSURMOUNTABLE HARDWARE BARRIER. Its silly.
The HD console games all look like slightly weaker or older gaming PC's to me. They always have and I strongly suspect that they always will.
BK:N&B is a lot of fun. LBP...well uh...I liked the music! And the concept was nice.
