If those are the only two reactions that the author has seen then one has to wonder why he or she is writing editorials about this. I've seen a much wider range of reactions most of which have been entirely reasonable.
I'm not even going to buy Killzone 3. I didn't like 2 much. I don't even know anyone who likes playing it any more.
It's a real shame that no one else wants to talk about those supposedly important games with you in this Halo thread. Oh well.
Cool story bro.
'Cause they haven't tried Move and realized that it's just more motion controls yet. They think that 1:1 is a magic word and don't understand that it's just more point n' waggle.
Yep two moves and a navigator. Hopefully for less than $60.
Nobody cared about Eyepet.
They also made games for PC including Myth and the lasttwo Marathon games.
It probably would have been just as crappy. Square has been putting out some pretty poor stuff this gen.
Free-roam is more about presentation and continuity between sections/levels than it is true role playing.
I think I'd like a Free Roam Mass Effect game though I'm sure you'd be using a compass and following "signals" that lead you to stuff more often than truly exploring.
Still it's something to consider for a future game. Maybe Bioware can look into using a sandbox game engine like the one in Red Faction Guerilla or Just Cause 2.
This "guy" sold his company to Palm when it was collapsing for lack of revenue.
Last I heard BeOS was dead for lack of interest and the company ran out of funds and had to sell out what was left to Palm. So that's some great and valuable advice there 'Jean Louis'. BeOS has been since largely replaced by an open source hobby project called 'Haiku' that is a descendent of OpenBeOS. Palm has since been purchased by HP.
The rest of the article is about MS opening a coffee shop in Taiwan ending up with some wishful thinking about MS someho...
If move is that expensive then it's probably a failed project because it needs widespread adoption to do what MS wants from it and that requires a low price as a low barrier to entry for users.
Edge read a Russian magazine article about Gear 3 though and posted links to the scans of it. That's just a wee bit better in terms of evidence than "our source says".
That's not a reason, it's a slogan. And it's a dumb meaningless slogan at that. 'Grats.
Apparently you care, because you ran here to bitch about whatever it is that you think he said.
So you presume that he could only be responding to the GamePro article ? Really? And you know this how again?
No, it turns out that most gamers are only capable of losing their #@#$, responding to horrible articles, that they didn't actually read, in the N4g comments section.
Judging by the comments here, most gamers couldn't even get a job as one of his research assistants.
Nope. PS3 started doing well AFTER the price drop.
Nah, it's just the usual silly people freaking out over rumors trying to spin ANYTHING they hear as bad because they are childish and angry that other gaming companies exist and prosper.
"The rest of us" being a small group of over-dramatic complainers who thankfully no one ever really listens to...
