Twisted Metal this week. Vita overload next. Game coma!!!
Wow, another Darkness II guide? Fantastic info. Thanks!
Solid work getting this up so fast! Thanks!
Hopefully for those that bought into the crazy amount of items that were available pre-launch, there will be no weeping over wasted money.
It's all good. I appreciate you calling it out rather than letting it sit there with the unaddressed typo.
I try to have a sense of humor... years of looking in the mirror makes that possible. ;)
Aaaaaaaaand, that's why you don't type so darn quickly. Sigh. Thanks for calling it out.
I need to... um.... "update my portfolio."
Thanks for the laughs!
Honestly, I'm kind of over military shooters... which makes my interest in this pretty remarkable. Sounds pretty awesome, with some great replayability.
I'm willing to give it a go. Great writeup!
Actually, he is the President of the American Association of VPs.
Other titles he's held during his career:
VP of Line Leading (1st Grade)
VP of Taking out the Garbage (2nd - 8th Grades)
VP of Student Council (High School)
VP of Gamma Delta Iota Fraternity (College)
VP of Unpaid Interns (Graduate School)
The man is a born VP.
It's pretty impressive that EA's promotion for Amalur has lifted it from unknown, new IP to must-have title. Can't wait to play it.
Comparing the 3DS and Vita is as silly as comparing the DS and the PSP.
Comparing console hardware when the libraries barely overlap (unlike home consoles) is simply a waste of time. Both are going to have solid games. The 3DS boasts Super Mario 3D Land, Kid Icarus and Resident Evil: Revelations (exclusive, at least for now).
The Vita is coming to market with Uncharted, Army Corps of Hell and a host of solid fighting games. The truth is, if you like *games*,...
No, the reviewer *six-pack* abviously hates games. Duh.
Definitely no lighting issues. The game really does a solid job of tracking. No jerky motion that you get with a lot of Kinect games.
Just heard from Arne Meyer at Naughty Dog that the trailer was pulled off the GameTrailers official channel by Viacom. Apparently, a) Viacom doesn't know that they own GameTrailers and b) that they *don't* own the trailer.
No. This is purely because it aired during the VGAs. It has nothing to do with Viacom and Microsoft. Writing this off as "business is business" is the kind of thing that opens the door to SOPA and PIPA.
We ran into this with the letters V, G and A.
This originally started as an opinion piece and letter to our readers. It wasn't until after I spoke with Arne that we realized that this is far larger than one site.
Clearly, Viacom is overly aggressive. This, though, is simply absurd.
How do you mean? To me, this means that our reviewer thought it was nearly perfect, but the few flaws he identified held it back from the perfect "10."
I'm not sure if any of you noticed my avatar picture. No? It's me in my Nathan Drake costume from last Halloween. I absolutely love the series and very much enjoyed Uncharted 3.
I'm glad to explain my comment about combat being a barrier. There were many times in the game where, rather than shoot an enemy, I would risk closing the distance to engage in a fistfight rather than deal with the shooting mechanics. This never happened to me in Uncharted 2. I had a prob...
I would love to see more of this non-DRM. It's always good for a laugh.
