Sonic can't catch a break these days.
One day, there will be an awesome GoT game. Alas, today is apparently not that day.
I think what some of you might have missed in the piece is that I would like to see games *other* than shooters in bite-sized chunks.
Episodic is extremely successful and fits the lifestyles of people like me that love gaming, but don't have all the time we used to have to devote to 100+ hour games.
I also made it clear that there is a place for longer games. I'm not decrying the meatier experiences, rather looking for some kind of balance across ge...
So many games slip through the cracks. This gives some lesser played gems some attention.
This is a good rule for gaming in general. If you get burnt out, taking a break is good. Either you'll want to come back with renewed passion or decide that it isn't that important at all. Both are acceptable.
More like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance... less like... umm... most other Superhero games.

Yup. Call of Duty Elite was a crapfest early on. It's to be expected, though. There is no such thing as a smooth online rollout for the exact reasons I detailed in the piece.

I had a hard time scoring it. I think that for the right gamer, this is going to hit the sweet spot. I think the majority, though, will be disappointed because of the time you're forced to spend away from the scope.

The PSPGo didn't fail because it was download only. It failed because you couldn't access the whole library (or even most of it) via download.
This just seems like a horrible idea for a game that isn't a translation of the original board game.
