So... is Hal 21 the planet or the ship... or what? ;)
OK... so you must be referring to Firefly as "overrated," The Dark Tower as "awful" and... which is the uninspired cop show? If you're talking about The Dresden Files, you either a) didn't read the article to learn that The Dresden Files is a series of books by Jim Butcher or b) you lack the reading comprehension to process that fact.
Either way, your comment paints you as a troll. Rather than offer your own suggestions or hopes for video game ada...
If anyone would like to offer something constructive, we'd love to hear it. :)
Fantasy Flight has made a number of board game conversions of popular video games (WoW and Starcraft come to mind). They are absolutely fantastic designers that masterfully capture the essence of the properties they adapt for tabletop. If you like Gears and have a group of people willing to play, go for it.
Also, given that the game has an "AI", this (and so many other of their games) can be played solo.
I'll say it again. This is a joke, everyone. But, for those that insist on taking it seriously, I'd like to thank you for giving me fodder for my next editorial.
Much love,
Not "Punchfister"
I'm sure it's intended as satire. Maybe Mr. Deebag watches a lot of Fox News.
I'm actually kind of sad for you that you don't realize that this is a joke.
*cough*Satire*cough*
Also from the article:
So what ends up happening is both players hold back and hope that when they hit an attack button, the other player dozed off while waiting. The game’s a block-fest. Boring. These matches end up being two guys crying, “Not in the face!” until one of them straps on a pair and actually throws a punch. If I wanted to watch that crap, I’d spend more time behind high schools. When you want to pull of an Ultra or Super combo, most of the characters require you to...
If you read the whole piece and didn't realize it was a joke, I feel for you.
If you like twin-stick shooters and the Warhammer universe, the lack of online play shouldn't stop you. It is a lot of fun, especially for a $10 game.
Thanks, man. Glad you liked it. :)
It's a PSOne Import game just released by Monkeypaw games. It was... interesting. Not the easiest game I've had to review.
Believe me. Some of us get it. It's one of the reasons I love working for ZTGameDomain. There's an expectation of integrity that all of Zero's writers need to live up to.
Should it be 5 paragraphs long and not at all informative? :)
Did you guys read the article? This isn't about the game getting a bad score, it's about the fact that the IGN piece can barely be called a review. It's a childish rant with a score slapped on it.
As reviewers, it is our job to think about the target market. At the very least, the reviewer could have commented on the use of the license, the value for DW or Gundam fans, etc. Instead, he essentially wrote five paragraphs that amounted to "it sucks, didn't p...
This game looks to be a very different type of zombie game with its lighthearted tone and Spy vs Spy trap mentality.
It's a lot of fun.
Yup. It's a PS3 exclusive.
Thanks. I'm glad to know that I'm not alone on this. :)
