10/10. Wow. Guess I should add some dollahs to my Wallet.
Completely understandable. We actually had a good laugh about the source material before Chris wrote it up. I'm totally taking credit for the flood insurance sentence, though. ;)
Actually, the piece is structured as a rebuttal and it's based off recent (ridiculous) theories from a mobile developer who only stands to gain from consoles dying.
Riiiiiiight. They are dying... which is why Microsoft's sales curve is still on an upward slant even this late into the life cycle.
Of course, this sounds like the pipe dream of a mobile developer that is trying to make the sky fall just by shouting about a little rain.
Wow. I need to look into this one fo' mah Vita!
I believe I can fly. Definitely want to give this game a try at some point.
Sounds like the kind of old-school twitch that my Quake days demand I play.
Such a beautiful game.
Are you not in favor of color blind people having a place in gaming? j/k
Seriously, it's a direct sequel, similar to the Final Fantasy games with immediate follow-ups (X-2, XII-2, XIII-2).
Just want to be clear. The news about the new launch bundle was communicated separately. I pre-ordered off of that. It did not include info about the free month being buy one/get one.
On top of that, I think we're in agreement that it was never communicated that the game would come 30 days later. Huge misstep.
Finally, there is the issue of the support. Nothing excuses the service call and the 90 min it took to get anything resembling an answer.
That's the First Edition Bundle language. I looked to see if it was mirrored for the launch bundle. It was not, nor did it say that on the box. Nor did it say that the game would come 30 days later on the blog or on the box.
Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I'm glad that others have had better experience with them. Makes me hopeful for the inevitable next time.
Thank you for taking the time to read the story. I appreciate it. I understand if people disagree, but to accuse me of being self-righteous?
Not sure if that's the right word. Maybe that other guy should read it a bit more thoroughly to come up with a better pejorative.
So glad you took the time to read the story.
SSeXy!!
Between the Vita and Syndicate, it's a very good week.
So... which one of those in that picture is the gamer? Seriously, though, anyone else getting tired of the media twisting reasonable studies?
No lobbies is great for 360, since party chat can be used to coordinate. On the PS3, though, I have no idea how this is going to play out.
Did you read the piece? I explain exactly what it means that EA is taking a leap of faith with Creative Director Todd Batty.
EA had no intention of reviving the series until Batty convinced them. You can read the whole story inside.
The DLC is over 600 MB. What was found are called "hooks." This allows the DLC to seamlessly integrate with the core content.
Because the character needs to be available throughout nearly the entire game, they had to seed mention of him throughout the code.
It's interesting that @TheHater mentions Kingdoms of Amalur, another EA title...
