Loved the first one. Hoping for good things from Riptide.
I didn't say the analogy wasn't apt. I said it wasn't perfect. Again, having played it, my comparisons still stand.
There are many similarities that evoke the feel of Left 4 Dead. You didn't understand how they could be compared. I tried to educate you.
This game looks sooooooo good.
Having had the chance to play this, too. I'm very excited.
Love KH! Looking forward to seeing how this one does.
If there's one thing that these conference have shown is that this generation is already in "lame duck" mode. :(
Constant flood of pirates. Set piece moments where you have to hold up and wait for *something* to happen (repair a train, load up bridge with explosives, etc).
Is it a perfect analog to L4D? No. But when I played it and all of us expressed the same sentiments when we were finished the demo, it's hard to argue the similarities. Even at the beginning when you are hovering above the four people and zoom into first person behind their eyes. There are a lot of things that hav...
Neat. Sounds like a cool racer.
This game has always seemed like the kind of racer I can get behind. I need to check it out.
I'm always torn. There are some 3D games I can get into, but others simply seem like sidestep central.
Apparently, this is drawing so much traffic on RipTen that it's crushing the site. Awesome. :)
Wow. Someone else who played Majestic. How cool was that game?! Did you see this week's INSERT COIN? There is a new game similar to it starring David Hayter.
I get it! Blood Drive! Like the Red Cross. Save a life by killing zombies. LOL
Great piece.
It's not a bad game. I really want to stress that. The MP is decisively original, and the progression system is fun.
It's just that the single player makes so many missteps, retreading the ground of poor mechanics we left behind ages ago.
Yup. This story is no longer relevant.
Bearing in mind that this was supposed to out this fall, I'm thinking things are in a bad state. Keep in mind that Reckoning only existed because Big Huge Games was in the middle of developing it as something else before the world of Amalur got molded onto it.
38 Still hasn't really done anything from the ground up by themselves.
There aren't any investors, though. I think it was designed to attract them. If so, it shows that there is less to the game than anyone originally thought.
Neat trick!
This looks like fun. Good multiplayer!
