I've really, really wanted to jump in on a PSVR2. I'm dying to play GT7 in VR with my Logitech g29 wheel. I also want to play RE4 & 8, and wouldn't mind trying out the Horizon game....... but it seems like the exclusives have dried up. :\
See, I've been VR gaming on PC now for the last year and 1/2 with a decent enough rig to max out most games.
What I wanted to see were more exclusives. Show us Astrobot, give us a Blood & Truth 2,...
Holy crap, I was just reading up on the history of RC Pro Am, and I had no idea that Rare had been working on an RC Pro Am 64...... which actually became Diddy Kong Racing during development! Very interesting....

Nice, nice. I really like WayForward, love Contra and I think they'll knock this reboot out of the park! Downloading the demo now.
Not gonna lie, I'm hoping this goes to PS+ also bc my kids want to play it, but I don't think it's worth actually buying. XD
You know, I loved that game when I was a kid, but didn't remember it being a Rareware title. That's cool! I've been playing this afternoon and loving the nostalgic fix.
It's also worth picking up Blizzard's Retro collection too for Rock'n'Roll Racing, which seemed very inspired by RC Pro Am. That collection is neat bc they give you the option to play the real classic rock music recordings or go full retro in the settings.
Yea I played the N64 one bc I bought the N64 at launch, and that was one of my first game purchases. I'm sure it will come to NSO.
@darthv72 awesome! I want to get one of those, they look really nice! I learned about Nyxi from the YouTube channel SwitchUp (one of my favorite Switch reviewers), and he said it was his most recommended controller. I bought it last Fall.
These additions were definitely the highlight of the Direct for me! I know, "you can play these on Roms, blah blah blah..", but I like to have these within my Nintendo ecosytem (I buy most Retro things there too) I like the official Retro controllers, and I also have a really amazing quality Joy-con alternative by Nyxi, like this: ...
I would have liked the original NES Battletoads too, but at least there's hope that it will come! This is nice that Rare has opened up more of their classics to NSO, so there's hope of Diddy Kong Racing and Conker's Bad Fur day in the future now too!
Even though I posted this, I personally believe the rumor may only be partially correct, and also the leaker didn't clarify the specifics either... just a Dolphin hint was posted. I think Gamecube games would require too large of downloads for a service app. I think it's more likely that Nintendo will just release more Gamecube games to purchase on the online store, while also releasing an official Gamecube replica controller on their Online store.

Maybe so.. my wife would play it. It would tank the overall review scores though.
All of these pirate themed review titles, I'm surprised that no one has done "Skull and Bones: The Worst Booty You'll Have This Year! XD
Oh man, I remember playing this on Gamecube. I picked it up at random used from Gamestop and I couldn't put it down, from start to finish. I'm sure if I went back to it now, the nostalgia wouldn't hold up. I'd like to see it reimagined for sure!
I'd love to have The Last Revelation, and I was surprised they didn't include that one with this original package and just charge $40.
Oh man, Angel of Darkness shouldn't be remastered. That game was terrible. My wife loved it for some odd reason though. X´D
@BeHunted shaenoide is right. Pokemon ripped off Dragon Quest first. Palworld monsters are as much a variant of Pokemon as Pokemon was of Dragon Quest.

I wanted a Black Flag sequel so bad. It's still my favorite AC entry. The fact that they ignored everything that we loved about that game in this "spiritual successor" is making me enjoy watching this game crash and burn quite a bit. Either do it right or don't do it at all. (I understand the legal binding they got themselves into with the Singapore government to release this game at all costs)

Man, this would be the perfect title to bring next to the Nintendo 64 lineup on Nintendo Switch Online. This game was so good back in the day.
Man, KEMCO really churns these jrpgs out like a machine, although I actually like some of them as guilty pleasures. They'll never be "top" jrpgs and some stories are better than others (many are quite bland), but they do scratch a certain retro itch for my nostaglic 90's jrpg heart. A longing for a simpler time. I wish the 50 game bundle was available on the Switch, bc that's where I mostly like playing them - as quick pickup plays.
Oh boy, imagine buying an expensive dedicated controller for this game.
On the plus side, Sea of Thieves is going Multi-Platform, so maybe it'll get implemented there and find usefulness after Skull and Bones flops.
**Edit - Ahh, it appears it's not even for sale. Just a promotional item.
Pretty crazy story. Literally Celestial Intervention. XD
