Not sure why it has to be one or the other. I play my Switch and my PS5 about equally and I appreciate both.
I'm happy for more GB games, and these are pretty solid titles, but why haven't we gotten the original SMB Land? It may not be considered one of the better Mario platformers, but I still enjoy it and have fond memories of it as one of the first GB games I ever purchased. I can understand us getting SMB Land 2 first, as it's more traditional to the series, but I hope they don't skip part 1 all together.
Yea, I remember seeing him and his Lamborghini at one point in history. Lol, I think that kind of gives it away.
As tempting as it is to have fully portable on my Switch, I'd rather pick this up on PS5. Some games just need to be played on something more powerful. Plus once I get that Portal...
Exactly. Ubisoft prices plummet soo fast and hit some incredible lows. I probably wouldn't own every Assassin's Creed game if it weren't for the dirt cheap sales they hit.
Even if they could just remaster and put on PSVR2, some would still look great as VR titles and could do a whole lot to bolster the headset w these exclusives! I'd imagine the investment of reworking these titles into VR would be way less than building new games from the ground up, and they could be amazing experiences, and VR often makes flat games feel fresh again. The Resistance and Killzone games are particularly what I want to see!!
The reviews of this collection haven't been particularly great, but I'm still going to buy this bc I like to support any legal efforts at bringing retro games to the current market. I enjoyed these Top Gear games as a kid, and even if they don't carry the same weight as they used to, I'm sure I'll find enjoyment in just revisiting the fondness of my gaming childhood.
Oh, I never said I doubted that! I'll certainly be picking it up digitally, as I picked up the first one.
Physical sales have been just a small snippet preview of sales, but you're right, they're becoming less and less relevant to overall sales numbers now days.
I fully support people going out and buying it physically for sure! For me, I have just liked adopting the convenience of having my own library of games I can cycle through quickly. ...
AAAA's, yo! XD
Lol "pirate the demo" 😂😂
Lol, that was my same question when I submitted the story. I was looking around, surely I missed something or it was a typo! XD
I'm not really surprised, because this pretty much requires that you finished FF7 Remake, which we know a lot of gamers end up w games in their backlogs, even if they were highly enjoying them.
I'm in this boat. I will pick up FF7 Rebirth when I get around to finish playing FF7 Remake, bc I'm currently back to replaying the original again bc I want to pick up all the little details/changes.
Plus, FF7 Remake launched right during the beginnin...
Really hoping this comes to consoles! I had a chance to check out the demo on Steam, and it was really, really nice. I'd love to have this handheld on the Switch particularly... or I'll just have to wait to get a Steam Deck!
I'm a sucker for these simulators if they include wheel support, so hopefully they put it! This actually looks pretty good. I feel like it needs more pedestrians, but the overall graphical quality is pretty decent for a lower budget sim game. (Eesh, rewatching though, that IS a lot of pop-in though! Hopefully that can be improved w updates)
I really thought this was a Sega Virtua Racing revival when I first glanced at it. Really digging the style. Even the trees look like Virtua Racing. I'll have to check this out!
This is actually great. Back in 2020, I triggered a herniated disc (where I had fractured my back 20 years back) so bad that I couldn't walk or even sit up for an entire month. I remember I spent a lot of time watching movies and playing theater mode games on my PSVR, staring straight up at the ceiling. I couldn't even lay on my side to watch movies on the TV, so VR was a godsend, even though I couldn't actually play VR games.
You think you don't need a feat...
I'm definitely interested. I bought the original at launch back in 99 on a whim and absolutely loved it for that time. It had a soundtrack that was better than most anything else of that time period, fully orchestrated. I still listen to it sometimes when I work!
Yea, I didn't get into the remake much either, bc it felt like they only gave it a half effort. It still had stiff late 90's animation when the characters were talking, and the audio quality of the voi...
No single player, stripped back features, corners cut from Black Flag. This game feels like a F2P at best.
Well I'm really happy you responded with this!
I must have completely missed or forgotten about Sonic Origins. I was just looking at it, and it has the Game Gear titles too on the Plus version! (I had a Game Gear back in the day) Man, especially in handheld, that should be great. I just wishlisted it and will pick it up on the next sale.
Thanks a ton!
Yea, Part 3 hasn't aged well, but Part 1 & 2 are still good watches. I really, really liked how they did Sandman in Part 3, it's just a shame that its Venom sucked and pushed Sandman more to the side.
