It's a real shame, I would have liked to see how Rockstar would have pulled off a "Bond" game, with their own twists and pedigree of polish.
Yet a majority of Xbox Series owners own the S. It's only going to get worse as we get deeper into this generation. :\

I still haven't played since June. Uninstalled for now. I feel I need to give it another chance, just on the fact I paid 69.99 for it digitally. It'll probably rot in my backlog with the rest of them though. :\
Glad to see SNES take the top! It really is timeless. Graphics and gameplay that even the youngbloods can appreciate today (still influencing modern indies!), but we aging gamers hold such fond memories of experiencing firsthand. Man, what a time to grow up.

My guess is that they needed to get a native PS5 build which Factions MP is now being built upon. MAYBE Factions will finally release, along with TLOU2 PS5, announcement coming at Game Awards Dec 7.
I hope this is the case, bc I'm not really on fire to play the campaign a 3rd time, but I'd certainly pay for an upgrade if it included Factions.
@CantThinkOfAUsername they'll happily sell you another new remaster of Skyrim in the next year or two.
Seeing how Rockstar has handled remasters in the past, I'm not going to get excited about this at all. Probably just the PC version at 4k 60fps, nothing more.

I was a fan of the original back in the 90's, and somehow never heard about this sequel! Pretty cool to see a classic resurrected. I'll have to check it out (if reviews are good), probably PS5 or Steam that hit today
It was rereleased on both the Wii and WiiU, so getting the license is not undoable, especially during this time when Nintendo has become more successful than ever. The correct answer is because they want to drip feed Switch Online releases. This may never come bc the suits fear people won't play the game twice if they play the classic one first.
I do prefer the Virtual Console days when we could buy them outright. (I had it on Wii VC, only rented back in the SNES days.....
My only issue is that the SNES original version is still not available on the Switch. It should be on either Nintendo Switch Online or included in this package.
Still, I'm super excited to pick this up, and I like that you can choose between classic and modern soundtrack. I just wanted to play it alongside the original without having to resort to Roms. (Your fault, Nintendo! lol)
