Ha, yea it would be a bit like Sairento VR (constant 1st person flipping combat), mixed with Detached VR (360 space thrusters) with all comfort settings off, if you've ever played either of those! XD

Glad they keep adding more cars! I'd like to see a 90's era Camaro SS added. I drove just a regular 93 Camaro in high school/into college, but liked to imagine myself driving something a bit stronger...until I wrapped it around a telephone pole, broke my neck in 3 places and was airlifted out. I won't drive a sports car in real life to this day ever again, but I'm really wanting to drive a 90s era Camaro in PSVR2, just for memory's sake.

I realized this is a dumb request after I thought about it more, but I can't delete now. XD

Yea, that would take way too much effort to rework, and without other players, the experience would feel even blander on slow gameplay that already hasn't aged that well. My nostalgia holds me to it, but most new players would probably hate it. I loved it for its time though, and I still hold friendships with a few players almost 20 years later! One of my close buddies there...

I'm sure Elon Musk will have Doom in our brains soon enough too.

Nice. I still have have my Gravity Rush physical copy for Vita, but I only owned Remastered + 2 digitally. Wish I had gone physical though.

Ha, I had a 360 and loved Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon! Never owned an XBox console again after 3 red ringed 360s though, BUT, I do continue to buy XB games on PC since 2017ish. I wish at the very least, we could get Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon rereleased on PC.

And I'm with you. I've bought Forza Horizon 4 & 5, MS Flight Simulator, and most of the XBox One era exclusives outright. I was never interested in paying a sub for them, prefer to own them on PC.

I second the call for FFXI, but not completely offline. Give it a max of 18 player online support, since an Alliance is maxed at that number (Party of 6 x 3) Any amount of players beyond that is not necessary. Simulate the auction house and ambient citizen/players.

I miss playing the game. I was hardcore into it back around 2004-06, but I wouldn't pay monthly to revisit it anymore. I may jump into it again with friends/others if it had free smaller scale accessibil...

Gravity Rush would be an amazing series to be reborn on PSVR2. (sure to make the motion sick squeamish! haha) Anyone who has never played them should pick these games up though, they were really fun, unique/wild gameplay w a lot of style. My only complaint is the Part 2 has a really slow start, but it picks up.

Fantasian needs to release on consoles, please. I'll probably never play it if it remains an Apple Arcade exclusive. I don't use Apple products, and certainly wouldn't buy one just for a single game. Mistwalker has always had odd exclusivity choices.

Uematsu is legend though, and the music was one of the big reasons I fell in love w Final Fantasy a few decades ago. I hope his health has improved, and he can exit his career on something more notable.

@Nyxus You know, I still only ever played the demo of Bravely Default II, and loved it. It was just one of those things where I was playing so many other things at the time it came out. Next time I see it on sale I'll pick it up. I'm hardcore on the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters at the moment. I'm really loving them, particularly bc it's the first time that the classics have included actual orchestrated music.

Impressive that Helldivers 2 actually moved up from #7 to #4 after 4 weeks! Of course, this article is from a Nintendo site, so there's no mention of that. I'm interested in picking up Mario vs Donkey Kong though. I wish it included the GBA version.

That would be great. I doubt the Switch successor will come this year, probably Spring of '25 (bc of rumors). But that would line up if they made an announcement on Bravely Default III in the Fall. Maybe a cross-platform title?

To be fair, I thought Joel was going to die by the end of TLOU Part 1. That near fatal fall at the University, and the buildup of Ellie into the strong fighter during that period. I was happy that Joel survived by the end of TLOU1, but it did not surprise me that they killed him in Part 2. Did I like it? No of course not. We weren't supposed to like it. TLOU was always supposed to be about uncomfortable storytelling.

Now what I didn't like was not the fact that we...

Whether they did enough to improve the modern graphics is debatable, but I will tell you what this game did that was incredible... including the original graphics in a live toggle. As a Retro-head, I loved this. This is something that more Remasters need. For instance, the ActRaiser and Advance Wars remakes I found disappointing that we couldn't switch to the classic graphics if we want.

These Aery games should not be played outside of VR. Even in VR, they're just ok but like the article says, they churn out way too many of these. I've only tried one, and it wasn't a terrible VR experience, but it could be way better. I imagine this game would feel incredibly dull flat screen. It's literally in the studio's name EpiXR, as XR = Virtual, Agumented or Mixed Reality gaming. (Extended Reality)

Excellent! The first game is so good. Brilliant use of instant time travel for the puzzles w no loading made you feel really sucked into the experience. This will be a day 1 for me.

Yea, Goldeneye especially feels better with the official Switch N64 controller, although it does definitely still feel dated. I thought most other titles in N64 NSO felt quite alright w that controller though. Especially w like Zelda, the command prompts are on screen, so it feels more natural w the N64 controller. I'd recommend one, but man they are overpriced and it's highly driven by nostalgia. Maybe if you can find one secondhand.

So RayTracing is no longer locked to the NVIDIA maps? I know there was a workaround, but it will be nice to have easier access to all worlds.

I'm going to show this to my 3/almost 4 year old son. He loves trucks and he loves smashing things. He's going to love it. I've been on a real nostalgic fix lately, sharing games from my youth w my kids. Seeing them smile, enjoy them just as much as I did back in the day has been nothing short of amazing!

I would pay for them to release an English translation version, separate from NSO if need be, like they did for the Fire Emblem NES release. (which was a limited time release) I would prefer that, so I actually own it.
