NSR and Crash 4 were good but this new game seems like a misstep when all they needed to do was make Crash 5.

Not super excited by this news. I was hyped for the announce since the pizza box tease but I was really hoping for just Crash 5.
Hopefully MS handle Crash better than Activision.
In its current form sure. But they could just downgrade the visuals or stream it. They never said it was coming natively.
This was already announced - the new part is the date.

Tbh I’m not sure this needed a sequel - it’s Kojimas weakest game for sure.
I’ll probably still get it since it’s Kojima - but I’m definitely more excited for Overdose at this time.

This was always going to be the case - too many leaks, and even screenshot leaks, for this to be fake.
Everything Sony will come to PC. PC gamers are the true winners this generation.

I expect that it will pass all 3 - but only with a written and signed agreement saying COD stays on existing platforms.
Regulators aren’t going to take Microsoft’s word for it - they’re going to want it in a legally binding contract - and MS will agree to that since they dont plan on removing COD from PS anyway, that is financial suicide.
MS has beaten the FTC before. They will 100% goto court on this.
Do they win? I don’t know. But if not they’ll have 66bn back to go acquire other smaller entities

I don’t think that’ll happen. Regulators aren’t going to fall for the “Oh, you’re suing us? Surprise, Starfield is now a PS5 game!”
Technically they haven’t yet… every Zenimax game released under MS has been a PlayStation exclusive 😝
That’ll change with Starfield though.
That’s going to be one juicy court case. It’s been a while since we’ve had a United States of America vs Microsoft.
Ultimately, I still expect this to go through though - with what agreements in place is the question.
