@TTeller Nvidia chose not to fight it though - it didn’t goto court.
MS and Activision are going to court - and the FTC has a terrible record in court. Even against Microsoft.
Also why would Square sell when Sony are more than willing to pay for exclusivity deals instead.
Heck they paid for 2 years of Forspoken and that game totally doesn’t look worth it.
Square have no reason to sell.
I’ll take the EU commissions word over yours on this I’m afraid.
@Ryuk You can absolutely come to an agreement based on concessions in court. This happens regularly with FTC cases.
That’s probably what’ll happen with the other regulators too - concessions.
This thing just keeps taking more weird and bizarre twists and turns. And buckle up, because we've still got many more months of this.
Pretty average game tbh. I don't think it's going to set the world on fire, and it certainly feels like Square pulled a fast one here by having Sony pay for 2 years of exclusivity for this.
Me and most of the viewers.
Lol I love that this has become a meme now. They'll obviously up security for next year, but ironically this was the best/funniest part of the show.
Lol, that is pretty awesome.
😂😂
Do we? It was the most boring, most dragged out part of the show. He basically read a novel.
Anytime - glad you agree.
I recall hearing similar things back in the 90's with the Virtual Boy...
Also, remember when everyone was going to be gaming on 3D TVs and no one would ever buy a normal TV again lol.
The reality is, VR will never be the standard way we consume games and as such, it hasn't really taken off at all. The vast majority of consumers just don't care, heck, the vast majority of PS owners don't care either.
@Outside I've never said Phil Spencer doesn't lie. All corporations and their leadership teams lie.
@ripper So explain why we should trust you over the EU... the actual body who had the hearings...
"because they told the EU they wouldn't take Bethesda games from other consoles"
That has already been debunked by the EU:

"You don't have any idea what their stock is, or how well it's selling. You don't have any information"
So? We make the same assumptions anytime we see an Xbox S or X or a PS5 in stock. We never have information about the stock volume, we make assumptions based on ease of purchase / availability.
@crazy PS5 is not struggling, but that doesn't meant they shouldnt focus on it.
@Eonjay Depends what you consider a failure. I consider the ~4% attach rate of the original PSVR a failure, yes.
@Knush Sometimes you have to make short term sacrifices for long term gain.
Long term, it is consumer friendly, because they'll get Activision games like COD etc in GamePass.
Looks like it is indeed open to the public, could be a mistake though since they sent out invites again like 48 hours ago.
This either has insane stock, or isn't selling that well - the demand is no where near as high as the PS5 itself (obviously, one is niche, one isn't).
PS5 being easier to find, especially the GoW bundle is really helping GoW stay at the top of the charts across the world. Its even holding its own against COD and FIFA.
Can’t say I’m surprised about NFS Unbound. I’m having fun with it and it’s the best NFS in years - but EA seem to be doing zero advertising of it.
