I think you’re misunderstanding the term close.
Closing the deal here means finalizing it - completing the purchase of ABK - not abandoning the acquisition.
Would much really be lost there?
Capcom - sporadic game releases and only a few franchises at that. Nothing even remotely close to games like COD, OW, Diablo etc
Square - basically already Sony exclusive. Not even sure it would make sense for Sony to buy them.
CDPR - Cyberpunk. Nothing more needs to be said.
FROM - Tencent owns a chunk of them already so that isn’t happening
If you asked me to pick ...
The FTC are looking to avoid court and reach an agreement with MS. This is going through.
Well you’d have to ask them that, right?
There’s only one problem with that. The award count received by ER doesn’t include PC gamer.
As per the rules stated on the website:
“To avoid platform bias, votes from media outlets that are exclusively focused on a single platform or family of platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, PC, etc.) are not counted toward the total.”
Pretty sure Stevivor owns all consoles - they at least own a PS5 because they’ve reviewed exclusives and were previously given review copies by Sony.
Looks like this may happen in the reverse actually. MS lawyers in the FTC hearing said they expect the EU and UK to be resolved within a few months with 'remedies' and that they will present those results to the FTC to expedite the FTC resolution.
Buckle up, because this is going through.
And that's fine, no one is forced to read my comments ;)
Huge in what way?
I can probably help - which country are you in?
It seems that you're having difficulty with reading comprehension.
Where did I say that it had any X% increase? all I said was it is readily available to buy in the regions listed above, which it is - and you've failed to prove otherwise.
Your China-JP-SK statistic is irrelevant because that data includes mobile gaming and we're talking about a console. Subtract mobile gaming and that statistic falls apart. Console gaming isn't very big in...
Cmon, we can at least squeeze another 100 articles out of this before they reach a settlement :P
Well if you want me to be specific, OK.
It's readily available in the following countries to my knowledge:
US (MSRP)
Canada (MSRP)
Mexico (Discounted)
UK (MSRP)
For the rest of Europe and Asia etc, your mileage may vary - I couldn't find much about what game stores they use there.
We don't need unit counts to know if something is in stock or not. You can just go on the website or...
I've been saying this for ages. People were getting their hopes up about the FTC blocking this, but that was never going to happen. This will be resolved with concessions, after which you can expect the EU and UK to follow.
Typically, when something wins more awards, it's because it's better. The reviews show the same too - one is a 93 and one is a 96. That doesn't mean TLOU2 is bad, I enjoyed it, it just means ER is better received.
More reaching for excuses on your part though. First it was the non-existent 'Xbox magazines', and when that was instantly debunked, now it's the 'new publications' 🙄
And yes the lack of accessibility opti...
I looked through the list, couldn't find any Xbox magazines:

Maybe it's just a good/better game? 🤷
Agreed. You need competition in the space.
Well that's worrying, it's Bloober team after all. This game should just be a copy paste of the original with better graphics and improved gameplay mechanics.
Yeah, and I bet those PR/marketing budgets are the first to be hit when we enter an economic downturn like this.
Lol - it happens to us all buddy, no harm done.
