This is a terrible take...
"How deep are MS pockets to keep devs on their system? Xbox owners don´t buy games, MS keeps filling pubs pockets with GamePass deals."
They aren't deep at all - publishers don't get paid by Microsoft aside from the 30% store cut (same cut they get on PS) unless some form of exclusivity or marketing deal is involved, which is rare for most devs/IPs.
Xbox is profitable for devs/pubs, it m...
Oh it’s an opinion not a fact, got it.
The same could be said for PS5? It had around 2 exclusives at launch? Missing quick resume, cold storage, expandable storage, still a lot of random crashes and issues with rest mode.
Zero games is obviously incorrect though, I doubt the console is sold out everywhere because people are rushing out to spend $500 on a console that has “zero games”. Are they using it as an ornament?
My opinion? They b...
Which is why we need real numbers not percentages - and we need to know the digital vs physical split.
50% of 100 mil is a lot, 50% of 100 is not.
“but this 20% figure includes ALL Xbox copies, i.e. XBOX one's 50 odd million consoles as well.”
But it doesn’t… because it’s physical only… for one country…
P.S. there are definitely not 50 mil xbox ones or 7 mil PS5’s in the UK lol. The population is only 68 mil. That...
“ They launched the console one year ahead of plan.”
Source?
Unreal Engine 5 already runs on Xbox Series S. It is a supported platform by Epic, along with just about every other platform, including mobile. You just look uneducated when you make such comments.
Their UE4 games look great - beyond what should've been achievable on Xbox One - looking forward to seeing what they can deliver with UE5.
No one has. Judge games on a per-game basis, not on a per-developer basis. Cyberpunk proved that. CDPR would've been considered a 'must play' developer prior to that.
Starfield is going to be huge - really high hopes for this game - and I hope the rumors of it launching this year are true.
Means nothing when we don't know how many units it sold, and what the breakdown of digital vs physical was.
Some games take far longer. GTA on an NVMe is still long for example.
Plus quick resume let’s you jump straight back in where you were playing. No splash, menus etc.
Rare replay is old is all - MS games since have been coming to steam for years now.
Honestly though, people get too attached to launchers. I don’t really care if it’s Steam, Xbox or Epic. I’ll buy it where it’s cheapest and play regardless.
So which part of him isn’t genuine? And why?
Huh? Their games are already on PC and have been for years?
Him having an opinion doesn’t make him not genuine.
I would like to see a quick resume feature on PC. It could even be an OS feature so it works with Steam games etc.
Why would a random ex-employee be doing damage control? He doesn’t even work there and isn’t part of the PR team.
“ They are gonna reveal the next trailer when? Two weeks before launch? When is the launch? Where are the news? ”
Is this your first time owning a game console? E3 is a month away.
UC4 + TLOU remaster + Nathan Drake collection + Bloodborne + GOW
Assuming we are allowed remasters. Also only listed exclusives since most cross plats like Control & RDR2 I actually ended up picking up on PC or Xbox 1X for frame rate/res/graphics.
I think that’s about it for me. Didn’t really get into Spider Man and HZD was good but not as good as the above.
God forbid he has his own opinion that doesn’t match yours.
Media needs to do a better job here. Video in Mandarin and they took a poorly translated version of it from a random Era community member as fact.
They should at least be getting their own translation and validating the facts. Whatever happened to investigative journalism.
@finding How is 33% 4x 21%? I'm confused.
