This looks strangely enjoyable. Going to try it out for sure.
@enthusiasticking Show me where I called anyone 'not a gamer' for not owning an Xbox - or any other device.
I'd hold but I'd be holding for a while ;)
Right... but not having a PS or not having played Horizon doesn't somehow disqualify you as a gamer - that is just BS.
There were rumors back in Feb from the same guy who leaked the PC release of HZD - but Jim Ryan came out since then and said it's still on track for 2021 - and 14 min of gameplay footage this early would suggest that is true!
https://screenrant.com/hori...
C'mon, don't be elitist - you can be a gamer without owning a PS. Plenty of people get by with just a PC for example - and the previous Horizon game came to PC, Forbidden West likely will too.
Hype - looks like this will be 2021 and not 2022 as rumored! They must be confident in the game to show 14 min before E3.
Agreed! And it’s probably the only one that could pull off purple!
@enthusiasticking And yet here I am, still waiting on anyone showing me the thing I didn't say... funny that.
@BehindTheRows Glad you agree :)
@draconiangull Please show me where Aaron Greenberg or NPD state 'Xbox is running in the red'. You have not yet linked such proof.
I guess I'm now waiting for that AND the Sony CMOS comment proof, geez, it's almost like neither of them exist.
@draconiangull It has been paid off, because MS regularly posts multiple Zenimaxs in terms of profit in 3 month periods. Xbox does not have it's own earnings calls, share price, or financials.
None of what you have shown below states that "Microsoft is running Xbox in the red".
You linked two things:
- An analyst saying their profit may be lower than the 2.2 bn. There is no confirmation how much lower it is, or if it is negative.
...
@cd1 Totally get it, and apologies - my comment was aimed at Fntastic.
I'm a huge Terminator fan too, but (and somewhat controversial opinion) I didn't like the ones after Judgment Day.
You might enjoy the game, but it definitely wasn't for me.
@ThunderCat
That is some serious tinfoil hat theory right there. I doubt they sit in the board room and say "Lets buy publisher X to stop Sony!" - it's more likely "Lets buy publisher X to increase revenue"
Microsoft's decisions are clearly driven by the same thing as every other corporation (including Sony & Nintendo) - money.
Also not sure I'd call buying Zenimax 'losing money' given that th...
This looks pretty cool in action. They need a Duo 2 device with a bigger screen though - those are some serious borders.
Reviews for this game are really all over the place. I was excited for it, not as confident after the reviews.
Where did I call for the firing of any Sony executive over the CMOS situation?
Welcome to modern times where we don't really own anything but more so are granted licenses.
The smart delivery thing wasn't a surprise though, I don't think anyone really expected two versions of the game to be on a single bluray.
Fortunately, it seems unlikely MS are going to go bankrupt anytime soon - would still like to see a 100% offline solution made available though, at least for games that aren't dependent upon extra data / patches...
My bad :) always mixing those two words up!
@BehindTheRows
I over analyze because it’s important that things are accurate ;)
“No one said nor implied that Cerny/Sony invented the SSD”
“leave it to Sony, Cerny and all their Engineers to create near cartridge loading times”
SSD causes the improved load times.
Point proven and I’m done here :)
You must be living under a rock or are just attempting to stir the pot.
We had a very active article on it on here yesterday - which you actually commented on.
A quick Google search showed articles on IGN, PureXbox, Game Rant, Generacion Xbox, GameSpot on the first page alone.
