Everything on VGChartz is an estimation, PS and Switch included - that's also why we tag the articles as rumor.
No release date :( Looks good though!
Can't you invest in both? Subscriptions are not a replacement for games, subscriptions contain games.
It's very common to fail cert, I have never seen a game pass it first time. Unfortunately there are always quirks and platform holders will not review your implementation in advance to see if it is compliant with all of the requirements.
Some larger publishers (like Activision) actually employ their own cert team that compliance tests to the same standards as Microsoft & Sony - but it's not that common since it is pretty expensive, and realistically, a lot of co...
2K are a competitor to Bethesda, not involved at all. 2K also do not make the certification requirements - Sony do.
It's likely 2K are just trying to strong-arm Sony into changing their cross-play policy now that it has some attention via the Epic case.
"For certification, we have been required by the publisher to remove crossplay support for PlayStation consoles."
Certification policies are defined by the platform, not the publisher. What this probably means is 2K didn't want to pay.
Also, you don't come out and blame/bash your publisher on Twitter - but you would bash Sony/MS to try and force them to change their policy.
PlayStation hardware isn’t going anywhere, people said the same thing years ago with Xbox bringing games to PC and yet Xbox Series exists.
There’s always going to be a huge segment of gamers who don’t want to game on a PC, deal with the problems on PC or just don’t have $2000 to spend on a PC. Console gaming is way more accessible and affordable.
Not a huge surprise really, this is clearly becoming the norm. UC4 would look awesome at high res and high framerate, enough so that I would consider buying a 2nd copy.
It’s not that PS wants to be Xbox or Xbox wants to be PS. They are both corporations who want to make money and satisfy shareholders.
Sony stated they made over 250% ROI on PC games - that’s why they are continuing doing it.
Good month - I highly recommend Squadrons!
Pretty weak month - but that's not new - it's been the trend for a while with XBL Gold. It's clear they're trying to push people to GamePass.
Guys, I think we've cracked the mystery behind CaptainHenry916.
Hellblade 1 was a good game until Microsoft acquired it, and then it suddenly became terrible:

I mean, that is a totally fair argument on PC and I 100% agree - Steam at least does a decent job of being non-intrusive for the most part.
Console is a bit different, if someone did find a way to pirate/copy games on an Xbox Series (or PS5), requiring the console to go online eventually would also force the person to update the console, which would then fix the exploit - PC doesn't really have that option since someone would just also patch out the online check, and th...
Metacritic is 81-88 across the platforms.
So by your logic Returnal, Miles Morales, RE Village, MLB, AC Valhalla, Astros, Sackboy are all mediocre games?
You must have a REALLY hard time finding any good games to play.
Looks good - but I want to see gameplay. Thoroughly enjoyed Hellblade 1 and looking forward to the sequel.
Are we now pretending NT put this out there to somehow cancel out the HFW news? I mean c'mon, it's some clouds for a few seconds, and the HFW State of Play isn't even today.
Not everything is down to a tinfoil hat conspiracy theory.
Since when was Hellblade considered boring? I remember it being a pretty fun game.
"We are buying the game, what even needs to b protected"
It's not to protect against you, it's to protect against those not buying the game ;)
@TheProblem "The series S doesn’t have supply issues. It’s often readily available and is included in the numbers."
Oh great - please link us to where we can buy all of this readily available stock which is sitting on shelves at MSRP - many people on here are looking for Series consoles, myself included, and would greatly appreciate your insights because it appears to be sold out at every major retailer in the US.
